bah your post only appeared this morning

Thanks tk x I know !!!! my heart bloody sank

....still could have been worse luckily upon checking everything i eat anyway comes in the anti inflammatory diet list! So i don't have to change anything and if i hadn't been eating as i do, it could have been worse! Had to get admitted cos you get ct scans straight away as an in patient and it's a 6 week - 2 month wait otherwise and they needed to see my anastomosis hadn't given up the ghost. So hoorah! and yet MORE good news i don't have rheumatoid arthritis !!!

So it could all be worse, yet i am still here, with a fridge full of salad and wimbledon on my telly!

Oh at least you got a scan and a good check up. And you haven't got RA, good news.

Glad you're enjoying Wimbledon, never get a chance to see it. I know it might be a bit late, but I bring a plate of steak in ale (in slow cooker since morning, so it's luscious), some strawberries and cream, and cherries. Very good for joints.

Yes, when you said you had a spike in uric acid I thought of gout (very bad rep, people think of large people drinking loads of port) but it can happen to anyone. Cherries are my absolute favourite fruit, shame we can't get them year round. I have about 12 cherries on my tree

Sorry to hear you are in the wars again P. I am now halfway through the cider apple vinegar trial. Let's hope it shows that it does have a positive effect on internal inflamation, which is one of the things they are testing.

It certainly isn't causing any weight loss, or at least not as far as I am concerned, 4 weeks in and my weight hasn't changed by more than a pound. Unless of course my scales are lying, but that is wishful thinking.

Yes, everyone associates it with eating too much stilton and drinking too much port! yet there was a guy in my t'ai chi class who was a super fit hang glider who had gout.

You've got fruit on your tree? i think mine is a display purposes only variety, but i thought it was dead so the four blossoms were a surprise!
I'm drinking something called montmorency cherry concentrate 2 tablespoons is the equivalent to a hundred cherries apparently

How's it going? Do they tell you whether you were on the ACV or the placebo at the end An?

Yes they will. We go back later this month for retesting and then once more for the Michael Moseley reveal etc. I will skulk at the back for that one!

Haha. Parading around on TV isn't really my ting. I only took part in the hope that I would lose some weight!

But I will PM you and tell you what I am wearing that day, so you can pick me out.
