It reminds of a book i once read called "if you can't live without me why aren't you dead yet?"

Hahahahaha i know exactly what you mean!
It's getting to be a bit like watching animals at the zoo

Life without Aldi and Lidl is not to be contemplated....my food bill would double!

I imagine you are all glued to the tennis. I've made a strawberry shortbread with whipped cream, which seemed appropriate......*pops into chinproof safe and activates the forcefield*

Well done!! i was up early to water and dead head the garden before the tennis started i did loads of cooking yesterday so i just have to grab stuff out of the fridge today but i'm so hungry for some reason the food i normally eat isn't filling me up today for some reason.

i've been loving the tennis today some great matches....it's on for another week i'm afraid so you've all got another week of me rushing in posting weird nonsensical posts due to over excitement sorry in advance!!!

We would all suffer without them two! I was dreaming about strawberry shortcake last night.

Sending good vibes. My brother had his out years ago. Doesn't appear to miss it!

You needn't worry about Aldi and Lidl (and to be honest I doubt we do ether.) if all else fails we will have to have Aldi run shopper trips to ROI. A bit like the French Hypermarket runs we have now.

Bee whispering.....yesterday afternoon i went downstairs to get some tea and found a big bumble bee in my kitchen sink, it was really slow and shaky. I thought it must have been stuck there and exhausted itself trying to get out. So i picked it up and put it outside on a cosmos for it to feed, it still looked it bit poorly so i made some strong sugar water and put it on the flower i could see it's little proboscis coming out to drink it when it could walk again i moved it onto a freshly blooming flower so it had more nectar and eventually it recovered. Bee nursing....is that a career option?

It is! They are quite fragile little things really. But a bit of sugar solution picks them up no end. I've just washed all the bee poo off my car...having two nests of them one in my chimney and the other in the barn next to where the car is parked means it turns yellow quite quickly The time they swarmed in my garden when I had a white sheet on the line.....well, they must have been incontinent bees is all I can say! Had to boil it twice to get the yellow out

oh my goodness!! i can't say i've ever had a problem with bee poo! it's all crow poo round here!
i do love the bees, it was ever so tense waiting to see if it would recover....it was moving in slow motion and basically letting me move it around without any problem, i didn't want to stress it out though.

They seem to know when you are trying to help them out. I've had to shift no end of them out of the cottage when they wander in and get stuck. This time of year, all the doors and windows are left open all day if I'm in.

I'm glad of better weather, seagulls are less likely to squit on the car!

Niece awake and trying to eat some grim looking soup, seems to have gone very well. Yes, keyhole twass, so hopefully a speedy recovery.
