Me neither. I struggle to find any sport remotely entertaining. I will occasionally watch the Paralympians as that is more about victory over adversity. But only to dip in and out

Same here. In fact, I married mr tk because he doesn't like football. Or any other sport really. I came from a home where dad and three brothers were football mad.

Few hours off tomorrow, so I checked the museum with the Viking exhibition;. it finished two weeks ago.

A friend and I once visited a museum which said it had a Viking hoard. Got there to find one very small glass cabinet with a few coins, a knife or two and a couple of drinking horns!! The smallest hoard you could possibly imagine

Have either (any) of you ever roasted cauliflower. I did tonight for the first time. Aldi have the most beautiful caulis at present for just 39 pence each. I roasted it with anchovies, garlic, olive oil and lemon - delicious.

No An, love steamed cauliflower with roast lamb, just goes. And cauliflower cheese, either on its own or with anything really.

Must try the roast version.

Yes thats what I normally do. My Mum and I often go to her local pub where they have one of those £3.99 carverys. They do the most delicious cauli in white sauce. I pile so much on the plate I make my tummy hurt through sheer stretch!

But the one I bought from Aldi was ginormous so I needed a new idea. I went on line and came up with the anchovy thing. Ticks the box for my portion of oily fish for the week too.

I would love to have my DNA tested but it is more than £100!! My friend had hers done and as she is of Turkish origin she had some very interesting genes. Quite a high percentage of African!

I have indeed roasted cauliflower. That is also a Turkish thing, we had it on holiday in Turkey and we asked them how it was done, you blanch the cauli for about 2 mins in boiling water, then toss it in some light olive oil and some spices [I forget which but it may come to me later ] then roast. Delicious!

It has been a lovely day here, and now the most glorious golden evening. I had to miss some of it doing a big shop, so on the plus side strawberries and cream, hurricane ice lollies and magnums in the Chin proof safe.

If only some rhubarb flan and clotted cream would smoke her out it would be lucky because I have some here. I used crystalised ginger cut up into really small bits and added to the rhubarb when I roasted it. Worked well. Help yourselves folks.
