Oooh! Healing foot cake! Yes please
![]() I've been naughty. I made an orange and almond cake because I have visitors arriving tomorrow, got to feed them summat!! It smells divine...I will make some orange syrup to soak into it, makes a lush dessert with some creme fraiche! *puts some in chinproof safe* Other than that I have rested the foot. Oh, and gone to Lidl but again, needed some food to feed my guests who have no idea I am a crock!!

Ta raa
Rhubarb and carmalised ginger clafoutis is here. Looks a bit messy, rhubarb hasn't really held its shape not that I expected it too. But tastes divine. Nice with creme fraiche too! Help yourselves if you have room after orange and almond pudding-cake. |

Since it was alright i went up to 10 (five on each foot!!!) people say it might sting or itch when you first start using it but it didn't with me, although if i get any on the back of my hands they get itchy but not the palms it absorbs quite quick so if you do get itchy leave it on and when it drives you crazy wash it off and you'll still have the benefit!

I've just had another glass of warm water with apple cider vinegar and honey....absolutely revolting and makes you feel sick but I know it is meant to have health benefits, and one of them is supposed to be reducing inflammation in the tissues, so sticking with it. I will be very interested to hear the results of An's experiment!

ACV made me feel queasy too Twass. We had 30ml topped up to 200ml with water. Very cold water made it less astringent tastng. I also found adding something umami helped with the taste shock. I tried it with a tiny bit of marmite or bovril in the water which seemed to balance out the acidity. I did feel mildy sickly until I ate something, after a few mouthfuls of food the tummy settled.

Twass, i've been eating a banana a day as the potassium in the banana is supposed to react with the uric acid (the high uric acid levels are what cause the inflammation and pain in arthritis) and transform it into a form easily excreted by the kidneys. i have to say even though it's only been a week or so my feet feel better some days i don't even need the spray i do it on alternate days so maybe the bananas and the tart cherry juice are starting to have an effect? CLICK HERE this is thecherry juice ive been taking. Apparently two tablespoons (i have it in tonic water and it's yummy)for 2 months will reduce uric acid levels by 40% everyone on the gout forums swear by it!!! |

I really hope it works for you!My magnesium spray arrived, despite an earlier delivery update from Amazon saying it would come on Saturday ![]() So I have sprayed two big sprays on the foot and rubbed it in. THe excess on my hand I slapped on my hip, which always moans a bit when I can't walk properly on the duff foot. No tingling or anything at all so far. I will do another spray later and some before bed My friend has already had one hip replaced despite only being 47, and now waiting to have the second one done. Do you think the cherry juice would help her? And the magnesium oil? |

Do you think the cherry juice would help her? And the magnesium oil? It's meant to be good if you get cramp too. The frst few days i used it i fell asleep not long after So be warned! that seems to have worn off now though. It depends what's causing the hip pain if it's wear and tear on the joint i'm not so sure. I don't know about the cherry but the magnesium might help as it says it's for bone health! The cherry juice i started taking when i got the super high uric acid levels in my blood from having to do so much fasting due to my tummy problems. The uric acid builds up, forms crystals which then can cause gout, arthritis and kidney stones (*eek*). I went to gout and arthritis forums and also the mayo clinic in america to read what foods lower uric acid levels and the answers i got from nutritionists and sufferers were cherry juice, banana, lime juice (you can imagine my face when i read that!) and for some reason low fat yoghurt (but not normal yoghurt ) So i just started having them all!!! Like i said before the cherry juice is supposed to take 2-3 months to kick in reducing the actual levels of uric acid in the blood. But i have found the days i don't take the cherry juice i get twinges and the days i d things are much less painful. She can only, it's yummy too so it's not a hardship and i guess it's worth giving it a go if there's hope it could help. |

The gardening ones are Birkenstockalikes and falling apart....not very attractive but I seem to have no choice I even tried to slip on my garden crocs but the foot screamed in protest. Very odd

Thank you planets, I will pass on your words of wisdom. The hip is wear and tear, or old age and bad usage as she would say. She wore her hips out having fun in her twenties. Nuff said

There is a distinct fragrance inthe air which I assume comes from the fields nearby. They are out of sight but perhaps not out of whiff range.
