Crikey I hadn't thought about him being talked about in forums! Of course I have known him for years. He started fencing as a small boy. He plays bagpipes as well strangely enough for an Englishman!!

Yes so many things i thought were totally dead after being neglected have come back to life with a bit of love and attention! i get stupidly excited about flowers growing. Yesterday i cut myself the most enormous bunch of sweet peas in my garden and it ws heavenly the colours the smell just beautiful.
i only know about fencing cos i did it for my Duke of Edinburgh award thingy but my brother was super good and fenced for england when he was younger.
The feeling in the thread was RIchard woz robbed!!! What was great was people were watching because of RIchard representing GB and really getting into it and saying how much they enjoyed it. Hope he feels he did well,i could be wrong but i think it's the best placing by a British Fencer at the Olympics so he did wonderfully well.

Never grown them that haven't bloomed by now before. Perhaps these are Autumn flowering sweet peas

and the weather
