Brilliant. Fresh produce on Friday eh? I will get my culinery thinking cap on.

Feta works well in a fruit tart, but I only had sm9oked feta and used thatwhich is perhaps an innovation too far.

Sausage and apple pie anyone?
Evening An, the pie sounds lush!

small dainty steps towards the leaping and dancing

i suspected as much i shall buy lots of food that needs no cooking (hello humous) im looking forward to a proper binge of multiepisodes

i DREAM of bacon sandwiches!!!
mmmmmm i've had a very naughty week
Why not, we all have to be naughty sometimes!

Phwoar, that sounds divine! My mother used to make a sausagemeat casserole with tomatoes, onions, sausagemeat, herbs and layered sliced potato....gorgeous!

Oh that sounds delicious. Something to remember come winter I think. I used to stuff marrow with a similar concoction. Now I come to think of it I haven't seen a marrow for a few years now.

My ex husband used to grow marrows, and we'd pack them full of molasses sugar, hang them up in old pairs of tights and make marrow rum which would drip out of the ends of them!

I actually had a vegetable tart out at the weekend with mini twass which had slices of marrow on it along with peppers, onions, tomatoes and pesto. The marrow went very well and they had left the rind on which added a good texture

It wasn't like that down south....a very clear night which slipped into blue dusk by degrees and now it's black as ink!

It's so lovely to see the sky, after two weeks of cloud on the ground.

Doing loads of paperwork, but kept finding excuses to wander outside, brushing spiders webs off window sills, watering pots. Nearly tempted to remove my vest
Roll on holiday

Thanks planets, I'm gasping here (not complaining!). Lovely day again, but clouding over now and heavy rain forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

Overrun with spiders here too twass! I like them though, they eat up so many nasties.
When are you festivalling? Glad the foot is behaving.

My friend arrives this time next week, then off we go next Thursday, back the Tuesday after. Staying in our usual farm B&B the Thursday and Monday nights, festival camping in the middle!!

Glad you had a lovely day tk....a lovely cool summer's evening is developing here with a little light cloud. Perfect!!

Two weeks tonight I will be in my holiday bungalow
Think I'm a bit to creaky to be festivalling, might manage a sedate slow dance !
Mrtk is no hairdresser! But he does a good job, and keeps suggesting he sets up a little mobile colourist salon

My friend and I are both too creaky to be festivalling but it doesn't stop us

If Mr tk would like to chug down to Kent I could certainly use his services!

Are either of you blonde if so I have learned a great trick. I stumbled across it by fluke on you tube. There was an American woman on there who used Jolen facial hair bleach to do her roots. I don't know about roots but I thought I would give it ago to give myself the highlights that the sun normally provides in summer (not this year).

It worked like a charm. The product costs about £3. I only needed to mix about a teasppon full so I have 80% of the pack still unmixed for other times. It is thick so goes on where you want it and it lightened the hair in just 10 minutes. Totally brilliant. I don't know how good it is for my hair but I'm only going donw a shade or so and adding a very few highlights in the fringe and around the face so it can't be doing too much harm .
