Do you have Tesco in ROI? If so they are Tesco finest all butter and cherry scones; prepacked quatrians in the bakery aisle. Highly recommended but you are welcome to as many virtual ones as you like. Chutney now needs to rest for a few months. Ready around Christmas time.

I am not surprised. Reading through yoru recent posts you must be starving - quite literally. The scones were delicous. The scone bit is much the same as any other, but the cherries are like huge raisins; very juicy and bursting with flavour.

i think i must be ill i've gone right off cake at the moment
but i used to love a madeira cake with cherries in so i could probably manage a cherry scone

if it were a cheese scone i'd wrestle you to the ground for it

Weetabix? Fascinating what people take as holiday essentials.

While you are away have a think about what you will do with your share of the 11 billion. TK. I looked up the population of Ireland to see how much it worked at per capita. I was amazed to discover the population of Ireland is less than the population of the West Midlands.

I was working in £ strerling - but yes 13 billion euros coming your way. That will buy a lot of airport brandies.

Hope you have a safe journey. I popped on to see as it happens, because apparently a US flight on route to Heathrow had to land at Shannon due to "extreme turbulance". Several passengers have needed medical attention. Hopefully you are now well on your way to the Canaries.

Hi An

Sorry to butt in on your chat - just wondered if you've seen Moosey around. I did post first night of CBB but then had pc problems and CBB was so abysmal that I gave up anyway and I havent seen her since. If you spot her around tell her I was asking after her will you?

Lovely to see you in here Linmic. However Moosey doesn't really hang out here anymore.

She was on the live show/live feed threads more or less through the series. Not every day but regularly. I dropped in from time to time to say hi to her but I can't keep up with those live threads owing to the relative positions of my keyboard and the TV (and not having a flat lap!)

If she isn't around lately it might be health related. I will PM you.

I checked out the other discs and another two wouldn't load and half of series 4 and 5 the picture looked like lego blocks

Had a look at the amazon reviews and loads of people have complained not sure what to do now, i have series one so maybe ask bro to get me 2,3 and 4 as that will be the same price as the box set and buy 5 myself? cost me £8.55 to send it back an of course they don't give you the return postage back

That's really poor, could you complain to Amazon? Not much point in having a replacement from the same seller by the sounds of it. Possibly pirated

Yes I should get the series individually. I get a series every year on Mother's Day from my son. He's got me the whole lot as they've come out

Just thought you would like to know that the CAV trial piece goes out tonight.

Did I mention it didn't make one iota of difference in my case and seemingly nothing to justify the hype for the others either. I was in the CAV group but was not interviewed on camera or anything.

Interesting reading, I see it did have a significant effect on both blood sugars and cholesterol levels when having it twice daily diluted before food. Will be watching!!

That's very interesting An, I told you my Dad was convinced of the benefits of CV, and his BP and cholesterol levels were always perfect.
