That's very interesting An, I told you my Dad was convinced of the benefits of CV, and his BP and cholesterol levels were always perfect.
It didn't make a significant difference to mine but then mine was extremely low to start with. I was in it for the weight loss! The programme was rather underwhelming though.

Glad you are having a lovely time TK. Cava and calamari woudl go down very wel indeed right now.

Aw shame An!

Now, suncream showered off and sand gone from between my tootsies, it's time to put some slap on and decide where we are going to eat. Tapas last night, lovely but a bit complicated, think we will go plainer. Suggestions anyone?

Too late twass! Just in, and I did indeed have cod, chips and mushy peas. Mr tk had a lovely sirloin steak in pepper sauce, jacket spud and a big salad. With a (v) large g+t and a pint it came to €22. Value! Now to take slap off again, nite all.

Off to the very posh restaurant next door to see the (shipped in) flamenco act, possibly the same one we saw last year, but they were good. Anyone fancy sipping a glass of something cold and sparkling on the edge of the Atlantic?

Shurrup! Refuse to think about it when I'm soaking every ray possible, responsibly of course. Flamenco gang were fab, tho' we had to leave before we would have liked as a wannabe Geordie Shore gang showed up. Very unusual in this resort. So slap off again, and nite from Lanza

Oh gods the rays are gorgeous. Surprised myself by going a bit brown, well shoulders, back and front of feet, can't lie on a lounger, gotta keep moving!

Tomorrow we are off on a coach tour of the north of the island (or as my grandma called it a 'chara' ) hope to see some nice scenery and get a look into Manrique's house. Will report back

You must be allowed to eat SOMETHING or you will fade away to nothingness No one can live off stawberries and lettuce unless they are a bunny. Can you have pasta? Rice? Bread? Dairy produce? EGGS?

i know it's a nightmare!!!
I have had this conversation with my mum!

no dairy no eggs no meat no wheat i've been living on rice and veggies and salad since about march it's horrific!! i had a period where i lived on veggie chilli but i ate it 4 days a weeks for a couple of months and now the thought of it makes me heave

i just needed to have a moan as i was researching online to see if there was anything delicious i could eat which wouldn't make me iller and i got so frustrated at how limited the lists of foods were sorry
am off to sainsbury to see what delicious lettuce they have today

ps ive been listening to the commentaries on series 1 of GoT as a balm to ease the pain of not watching!! before i sent the boxset back i saw enough to get me hooked now i feel like a smack addict going through withdrawal.....come on man just one scene with jon snow at the wall.....just a hint of wall man.......i can handle it.....

How about stuffed peppers? Fill halved red peppers with rice you've mixed with oven roasted onions, garlic, courgettes, mushrooms, tomatoes etc etc and bake. Can you have Veese? As in vegan cheese which is not dairy? Also can you have non wheat bread like mini twass has, Gluten free spelt or rye loaves? You can get all manner of non wheat stuff these days. Also oats....can you have porridge made with nut milks?

You can get non wheat pastas as well. I get them for herself and have eaten them. Perfectly nice with a tasty veggie sauce of tomatoes and bits and bobs. Can you have Quorn mince?

Nuts and pulses, quinoa, pearl barley? I too am concerned about this Twass. P is still recovering from a serious injury/illness and in my opinion needs calories and especially protein to fuel the recovery. P are you getting support with these dietary restrictions? Its just not practical to airily tell someone to avoid so many major food groups. Who is doing the joined up thinking here?
