Good for you on the pork sandwich, honestly you need some good protein.

I very nearly was I fought it off (for the time being) and made it clear i woud try anything to avoid hospital again.

Oh my god it was so delicious i think i had an out of body experience due to pleasure overload

oh noooooo was it a smallish flashflood or a more damaging event? poor folks my heart bleeds for them. There's people in cumbria who still weren't back in their house from previous floods who got flooded again. You just get the place dried and it's ruined again poor things. I'm thinking about planning a wee trip next spring to Ireland. I'd come by ferry and bring the car (if that's a thing you can do!!) so i may be harassing you at a later date to tell me some nice places to go and stay etc!!!

Flashflood indeed, but still devastating for the poor people who had barely dried out their houses.

You certainly can bring your car on the ferry, are you looking for Vikings?

I've not been out of it yet, quite looking forward to the rain and cooler weather tomorrow. I think today was the last day of summer. Being 30 degrees, I am quite pleased to see the back of it!

It's been a fabulous summer I have to say. I would struggle living somewhere that almost never had sun and clear days....

She just appeared on another thread. Bacon bagel anyone?

I was hoping you would translate. I hadn't a clue what those posts were about.

It seems to be a rule in Ireland that everyone has to go to every funeral within a 50 mile radius. I am hoping there are an equivilent number of christenings we don't hear about or Ireland will be empty in 50 years time.
