It's been a busy morning! last summer i nicked some seeds from these enormous plate sized poppies at my mum's and earlier in the year i had my first go at propagating them. (my home made propagator was an empty humous pot!) anyway to my complete surprise some of the seeds did sprout then a few months later i pricked them out into seedling trays over the last few weeks a few died but some are quite big so today they were all transferred into their own individual humous pots
I also found some seeds on some beautiful trailing violas i planted up this year and had a go at propagating them and i have some sprouts showing through!!
It's all very exciting i've never done stuff from seeds before so I have no idea if i'm doing it right. I did read that this poppy takes two years from seed to flower

as they get bigger i've kind of run out of window sill though
It's very satisfying seeing them grow and tending them each morning.
