I normally have three or more chive plants growing on my kitchen windowsill but no one has been selling them this year at all so resorted to seeds - if i use a hair analogy to describe them instead of the lush George CLooney at his peak growth i've got a Bobby Charlton chive growth

They reminded me of east Manchester in the early sixties, when my Grandad used to take me to Bellevue. Lovely to look at.

How did the bloods turn out? I'm sure a good roast pork sandwich is essential.

Hehe dr tk knew you'd be in roast pork induced slumber! And I can imagine your local health authority, when 'planets need referral' comes in go into panic, with red lights, klaxons and sprinkler systems all over the place!

For some reason, I'd never seen For Whom The Bell Tolls, and this afternoon I was settling down to some paperwork, and flicked aroung to find some background wallpaper. Well, was soon engrossed and wow Gary Cooper was nice. Now have to go and finish paperwork.

Well I think the moral of the story is, plenty of meat seems to cure the insomnia and satisfy the tum. Regardless of doctor's orders I should make sure you consume some daily, planets!

As for Winter.....it is coming Season 2 binge watchage on the horizon

Boo to paperwork tk....hope that gets done and dusted soon!

Well everything feels better with a full tummy doesn't it? Stands to reason, and nobody can function without good nutrition - and just as important, food you enjoy and leaves you satisfied.

Effin paperwork. Never ends

The equinox was lovely, had a little thanksgiving ceremony [as you do if that way inclined] and lit candles and smudged the cottage......mercury is no longer in retrograde so everything feels lighter and brighter!

Oh that sounds lovely Twass. When i was younger all my friends and I used to go to this ancient Yew forest and stay up all night on summer solstice. It's lovely connecting to nature in that way.

good news about mercury! i seem to remember the awfullness that was involved during the saturn returns (may have got that wrong!)

Nothing like a bit of midsummer magic I remember staying up all night when I was younger too...nowadays I likes my bed too much for all that malarkey!

I hope you've had a goodly meat quota already today

Evenin all, hope you're well. Been out all day, got my new tablet! Setting it up, I downloaded Kindle app, signed in and all my books appeared, I know that is probably what should happen but I was blown away

Visited elderly auntie and had lovely tea and buns. Japanese knotweed seems to be blooming all over the place, the county council has helpfully put signs in front of these clumps, 'do not cut' I have a horrible feeling they are going to preserve them.
