Hiya! not too bad thanks although i'm a bit anxious as i started my new meds today and reading the leaflet i notice two of the (foot long list of) side effects are actually the reason i'm taking the meds in the first place

i'm feeling a bit pukey at the moment but can we book some GoT in around lunchtime or after? is that any good for you?
Ooh good luck with the new meds planets, I'm sure the consultant is even more anxious than you

Delighted to see you enjoying GOT! Have a lovely weekend all.

You were feeling OK before these meds and eating roast pork dinners and such

How much of a rebel are you? I think I might be tempted to say quality of life comes first. And refuse to take 'em. However, that choice is yours alone.......

You can watch if if you're desperate

From reading his letter to my GP (copy arrived this morning) it wouldn't be so much a case of how much of a rebel am i, with regards to stopping the new meds, it would be more a case of how suicidal am i, if the answer was 'very' then i'd refuse to take them.

it's all very depressing.
i might not post for a while so don't worry if i'm not about. i just need to get my head together.

take care everyone

Hi twass, it's absolutely horrible. But I know from personal experience that sometimes things get much worse before they get better. And that sometimes you have to try everything. Is the glass half full or half empty? Just glad I have a glass and there is something in it.

Wise words tk. I'm grateful for each day of decent health. Having faith in a better outcome also works marvels Easier said than done!

Witchy tips for fighting nausea....sip ginger tea and keep nibbling very small amounts.....have crackers or banana slices or toast and marmite by you and keep having little bits rather than attempting to eat a meal. If you have fresh ginger, grate it in the cup with a squeeze of lemon and a little honey and add hot water. A perfect pick you up Ginger teabags are also fine!
