Crikey, where IS everybody?
I know its quiet isn't it? I htink we know who are the heart and soul of this thread now don't we? Hopefully Moose and Planets will be back soon. Meanwhile I would suggest we soldier on and keep the home fires burning for them when they get home.

I know, it's such a sacrifice, but it will be worth it.

What have you been doing with him? I hope he doesn't go the same way as Olag or whatever his name was before Scarlett broke him.

Hello everyone!!!

Thanks for all the good wishes it's been a right old time of it!
Moved back home *hurrah*
Massive storm cut the power *boooooo* power would come on intermittently but by the time the router re-set itself the bloody power was off again *boooooooo*
Living next to a forest has it's drawbacks *not sure whether to booo or hurrah *
All the effort in moving home floored me with a systemic infection and i'm back on the amoxiclav things which turn me into Linda Blair *booooo*
am on a massive cocktail of things that make me sleepy and off my face currently *hurrah*

am about to stagger downstairs to put the kettle on so can take any drinks order i will also be making crumpets with cheese if anyone wants any.....*hurrah*

The Detectorists has been the best show on telly this year nothing to rival it, what a delight i can thoroughly recommend it if you want something as an antidote to all the shouty meanness about on telly, it's truly heart warming. *hurrah*

I miss Rollo he could warm the other bits and pieces The Detectorists couldn't reach

Of course it is, and when you are done with him he can come and indulge in a little swordplay here

Mind you, it's a tad late in the day for breakfast....how will you cram lunch and tea in before bedtime?

Yay one of our prodigals has come home. Sorry you are feeling out of sorts, hopefully it will be a small set back. I so agree with you about Detectorists if its the show I think you mean. The one with the guy from The Office (The TA one) and the guy who helped dig up Richard III. If so I think its brilliant.

That's the one An!
The last episode was last night (although i think series 2 might still be on iplayer) it's just beautifully written and performed and photographed.....so funny and delightfully heart warming...Mackenzie Crook (from The Office) wrote and directed it and it is by far my favourite programme of the year.

It's to counteract the massive testosterone overload from Rollo Lothbrok

Of course it is, and when you are done with him he can come and indulge in a little swordplay here
Rollo is in the completely brilliant Vikings it's fabulous....superb performances and the production values are out of this world. I adore it, i don't know what channel it's on ( one i don't have) but i got the dvds and LOVED them. Planets gives Vikings 5 stars *bangs sword on shield*

YES!!!! so pleased someone has actually seen it!!!! I love FLoki too!!! how did you know?! but Ragnar is probably my favourite character, played so superbly by Travis Fimmel, so layered and you can see the cogs whirring in his brain all the time. I just finished series 3 and am craving more!!! am ready to join the shield wall

ps big shout for Lagaetha too she is ace!
