I don't blame you at all. I'd be the same had I suffered what you have. God knows what would happen, your body doesn't respond well to being operated on! And doctors can be wrong. Surprise! It does happen. They don't know EVERYTHING and there are always folk who defy the odds. You already have, more than once!

By the way I recommended Magnesium Oil spray to a sick friend earlier today. It is remarkable stuff! I'm hoping it might help with her many ailments. Mini twass is trying it to help with her teeth grinding habit. She squirted it on her jaw last night and today came out in a big rash But is going to try squirting it elsewhere!
Yeah operations that are supposed to heal in 9 days took 22 months for me! so no i won't be having a transplant. I just couldn't bear another extended hospital stay. Oh yes i have high hopes for Pork Therapy

Oh good i hope it helps it certainly has made a difference to me (i tried it on my mum she has a metal plate and lots of screws in her foot and she said it really helped)

My foot recovered really well from the accident in August helped by the Magnesium. I finally got a letter from the orthopaedic doc last week, now that it's fine again I say fine, it doesn't look or behave like other people's feet. I'll go to the appointment but I am NOT having the surgery. I'll wear an ortho shoe no problem but nothing else. If I can manage perfectly well as I am most of the time, there's no way they are slicing me up

Glad to hear your foot is getting better. Did you find the magnesium gave you less pain and more flexibility?

It sounds like a plan to me. I think you should chomp on crackling as well and have plenty of bacon and eggs!

I smelt that when I was in the garden hanging washing!!!!!!!!!

Typical, now there's not a Super Moon to be seeing, it's clear blue skies, blazing sun, ridiculously warm for the time of year etc etc. Well I may as well get the laundry dry

I wouldn't have thought so.....what do you take it for?

I recently read an article that suggested we wash our hair all wrong. It said condition hair first, rinse off, then do one shampoo. I've done it twice now and my hair is really bouncy and clean, seems to stay clean longer. Although I can go 5 days easily without washing mine as it's never had a grease problem. You could give that a go

*scoffs bacon sarnie at speed of express train keeping wary eye out for chins*

why aye!!! just scoffing my pork sandwich, this pork therapy is quite the best medication i've had.

i read that article and also a rebuttal by a bunch of hairdressers explaining why it's bollox but i can't remember what they said now (it'll be the pork high ) i only remember the conclusion was: nah! I have three different types of shampoo and i only use one for two washes then switch. I find rotating them has worked a treat.

i take kelp because after my second op all my hair fell out. It took a year or so to grow in again. Then after my third op my hair fell out and also after the week i had 4 ops in a row it fell out again for a third time. When the hairdresser looked at it she said it wouldn't grow back again. BUT one of my district nurses said to try sea kelp supplement as her hair fell out when her son was in afghanistan (stress) and she took sea kelp and it grew back better than ever! So i've been taking the kelp for about 18 months and.....my hair's grown back not as thick as it was but it looks like a normal person not bobby charlton. and it's longer than it ever grew before and really shiny. My hairdresser is completely stunned and says she can't believe it as she was convinced it was totally buggered when she checked out my wee follicles. I've just recommended it to another lady who's hair fell out due to illness and also bought a bottle of them for my mum who can't believe how my hair is when even a year ago it was awful. I will say it takes a good few months before you notice but then suddenly i had normal person hair!!!

Wow, that sounds amazing, I remember you saying before about your hair. And now it's grown back in! I've a friend with very thin hair always moaning that it won't grow and falls out etc. What's the product name?

I'm going to do marmalade pork chop for dinner! Part roast your chop, then spread with marmalade and finish off. Well nice. I thought I would tell you as you could incorporate it into the pork therapy

Many thanks I will pass that on. Love the Rapunzel hair I've never made char sui pork, is that the red spiced sort you get in Chinese restaurants? A home cooked ham is so much tastier than bought. Have you ever done a ham in coca cola? Has to be full sugar. OMG it's gorgeous and I'm not even a fan of coke!

yes that's the stuff it's delicious. Before i went into hospital last time i spent a week working on the spicing and how long to marinade for best results and got my recipe perfected but i haven't made it since i got back home. it's yummy

oh my god the difference between home cooked ham is phenomenal i thought i didn't like ham until i tried proper home made stuff. I'd only had that wet plastic stuff they give you at school so for years i'd go "no thanks i' don't like ham"

oh i've heard of cooking the ham in coke but never tried it i thought it would be weird but you say it's gorgeous how does it effect the taste does it make it all juicy?
