I didn't know oeufs en cocottes had shrooms in them....I thought you just buttered a ramekin, sat the ramekin in a dish of water, broke in an egg with a bit more butter and s&p and baked it for about ten mins in a hot oven?

I'm sure that would work! Dare I ask if you are feeling a bit better if you are up to thinking about food and cooking it?

I'm up to thinking about it (which is a massive improvement!!) not quite up to cooking it yet but i figured if i imagined the lovely things i'd end up HAVING to cook it to stop myself from going mad!! my other idea was making a sort of croque monsieur egg thingy so the cheese and ham in a cream and egg mix (like for a quiche) and baking it in a ramekin but without the pastry.

*crosses fingers*
i seem to get this window of okayness after i've eaten
so i had my delicious crumpets au planets with some tea and nausea subsides until before i get hungry again, it's most peculiar.

if i'm still feeling ok later i'm going to try and get dressed (i know i'm pushing the boundaries of extreme activities ) and go to my village christmas market tonight just fancied leaving th ehouse for something other than hospital!!!!

oh would you look at that it's tea and ginger biscuit time! can i tempt you?

hope tk is ok she hasn't been about but i'm hoping it's broadband rather than anything horrid

Yes, I noticed tk has been absent...hopefully it is just broadband as you say. You can always tempt me with ginger things. Except Rick Astley

I think you should just graze on food continuously not wait to get hungry. Always eat before that happens! Keep the biskwits at your elbow
