I'm in the far south east here in Kent, but we've had a ton of rain and the local river is so high I'm afraid it will flood like it did last January....they had to pump out loads of houses in the village I'm halfway up a hill so safe from that....the wind is howling outside!

Oh twass I am a DS virgin but even I know better than to venture there. An is very brave (also knowledgeable).

Evening all! Anyone else around? Neighbour returned the cattle trailer, so another hour of conversation. But shopped today, so scones and Lidl's new tiramisu frozen dessert for the safe. Behave, chins.

it's been all dramatic emergencies consequently i slept until 11pm

Thankfully all has calmed down a lot, the house and garden survived the battering, and the local river just about managed not to burst its banks. However a lot more rain is forecast today

Aldi pies all the way

It's been relatively dry today so I am hoping the river will have gone down a wee bit!

Got Aldi pies 3 years ago, best ever! Never managed to get them since, always sold out. Got Snowy Lodge pies in Lidl yesterday, special offer, €1.29 for six. Wish I'd bought two
packs.

I just get whatever's cheap and looks good!
