But omg omg omg if you have a nearby Lidl, get hold of the tiramisu frozen dessert, I don't like tiramisu, bought one yesterday for freezer for Xmas dessert. Kindly shared it with you lot, tested it tonight. Beautiful. (Maybe why chins was tamed).

i LOVE tiramisu so will definitely put this on the list!! i've still got some emergency passionfruit sorbets in the freezer from the summer !!!

They used to do a pack of twelve bite sized mince pies at Aldi. I liked them.

I so agree with you about Greggs. Its my treat if I have spent several hours in town and missed lunch. Although the best sausage rolls were the ones we used to get from our local market when I was a child. They had a slightly sweet, stickiness about them. not the whole thing just a bit at the edges.

I recommend Co-op tiramasu. Its a chilled one and for my money the best on the market. Its £2 for a family size pack.

My dentist is near a Greggs so when i have my check up if i don't have anything done it's my reward!
i'm drooling just thinking about them!!! we had a portuges bakery at the end of my road in Brixton and they were my absolute favourite sausage roll something about how peppery the sausage meat was it was delicious!!!

oooo thanks for that...the thing that is tempting me (i've never bought but look at it longingly when i buy humous!) is an M and S toffee pecan meringue roulade....it's looks mighty fine

Not Cafe Prov by any chance, although that was more Camberwell. There was also a nice Portuguese place in Electric Avenue I think it was.

No it was just a normal bakery off Brixton Hill next door to Carpetland they did the world's greatest apple danish as well something which you just can't buy round here no one sells apple danish with the chopped almonds in sticky sugar on top....
(incidental weirdness: Carpetland was set on fire every Easter i never found out the religious significance of carpet and the crucifixion )

it's driving me nuts!!! it's so slow today each page is taking 34 seconds to load on DS it's worse than 1997 on dial up

Horrendous! The longer I can keep this old lappy going on Windows 8 the better....anything new I get will be Windows 10 for sure

my expensive new lappy came with windows 10 it's slower by miles than my old toshiba with windows 8.1 it's so disappointing.....might need a hobnob to cheer myself up *offers hobnobs to Twass*

i don't think so it's only a couple of months old it's been the same since i got it.
i hate windows 10 it's shit.
if i was younger and my brain hadn't been stolen in surgery i would look into a Linux OS but i know nothing about it ...

pork casserole sounds nice
i've had a bad medication caused gastro enteritis since the weekend so been on clear liquids and apples for days (apart form my virtual crumpets ) tonight i am going to cook a fishy and mashed potato (poorly food!!) i can't wait
