It will reach a high of 7 degrees apparently and a low of minus 1. So yes, midsummer in your parts LOL only the sun is brightly shining, no rain.

It's a bit chilly tonight but it's a clear sky so that makes it colder *shivers*.

Looking out my bedroom window tight on the horizon is the merest tinge of gold the last flicker of sunset....night falls so quickly this time of year.

We;ve been having really thick icy frosts of late. But are forecast snow again before f\riday apparently i hope it comes after thursday cos i'm in and out to hospital tuesday wednesday thursday (just days get to sleep at home) but it means getting up even earlier when it's icy as you have to scrape all the ice it's the job i hate most in the winter!!!

we've still got quite a few leaves on the trees here which is weird. I think it's going to be a hard winter because the hedgerows are full of rowan berries everywhere and that's usually a sign.

Wes Anderson is perhaps my favourite film director. He's made this tiny short film with the lovely Adrien Brody (who has been in many of his films) it's called Come Together.

I think that's the first Mythmas advert I've seen as I don't watch a deal of tellybox! Quite a little film. Presumably the passengers were in H&M clothes but it really didn't push H&M did it?

Haha, exactly same here. Last two years, took vest off only for one day (August wedding in Manchester) and two weeks in Lanzarote.

A shame and in a world where economics were less important, no doubt you'd have let them live out their days. But you have to make ends meet

Mine was a Penney's copy of a boden black trainer, which Teresa May is wearing in the Sunday Times. Can't afford her leather trousers though (and wouldn't want to, being around bulls).

Sorry to land that on you, it really is part of life. Bloody love that clip, and made me smile , ride me sideways (!)

Not at all tk (yer big bollox )i'm sure Twass doesn't mind, it's nice to have a place we can just say what's on our minds without having to walk on eggshells.
Glad Mrs Doyle brought a smile, there's a lovely thread in tv with people just randomly posting their favourite lines from Father Ted in.

My nieces love coming to stay, tuck themselves up in bed with the box set, not a peep out of them.

Well, cold box all dusted down for our shopping trip north tomorrow. (Locals call us Mexicans, 'cos we come from south of the border).
