oooo good luck with your foraging trip tomorrow. Are you buying all your christmas supplies?”

It's just the annual day out, a few years ago it was possible to save money on the exchange rate (actually those days might be back) but really it's just to have a trawl round some shops we don't have here. Most Christmas supplies will be bought locally, but I need a year's supply of Lurpak and Dandelion and Burdock, which are impossible to source here. And I need to spend £40 in the pound shop, just so I can have three huge bags and feel like a lady who shops

will stock up on cheesey scones, also lemon, apricot and chocolate Swiss rolls, so will always have some in an emergency.

Reading back a bit, our Rowan trees are hanging with fruit. Also finally saw a few weeks ago, Budapest Hotel. God, loved it.

Very wise tk you never know when a cheesey scone/lemony swiss roll emergency might occur, it's always best to be prepared
While i was in M&S getting my scone i spied a toffee pecan meringue roulade in the freezer section that appealed to me *drools slightly*

So many rowan berries this year the verges on the roads are scarlet with them!

oh i LOVED Grand Budapest Hotel absolutely one of my favourite films Ralph FIennes was superb in it he took me quite by surprise! "i go to bed with all my friends"

It's a fosterers' training day but I have to attend as the Coordinator. All a bit of a nonsense if you ask me, our fosterers know very well how to look after cats But that's head office for you.

I intend to rinse the free lunch and just have soup tonight

Keio Line is as Chins says supposedly running a cat sanctuary often speaking of "head office".
How To Wrap a Cat For Christmas is one of the more famous (and seasonally appropriate!) threads.

I loved Keio. The stories they told verged on genius

I can imagine. There were some epic threads back in the day but in recent years I've stayed in here. It's scary out there
