Well i really enjoyed it, set in the 1970s Ryan Gosling (funny) and Russell Crowe (very dead pan) it was one of those films where it builds up, there's funny stuff happening along the way but it all sort of comes together at the end. Some of the looks the actors would give were superb! Planets gives it a thumbs up!! (but then i really enjoyed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang too!)

Ooh thank you very much. My friend is actually now in a wheelchair after he was paralysed in Spring 2015 when a tree fell on him. He still loves them. He'll go to great lengths to save a tree!

You would have enjoyed my dinner P. Left over from Sunday. Pinto beans, roast root veg (carrots, parsnips, butter nut squash, swede, leeks, celery and apple) cassaroled in dry cider. I add a table spoon full of porrige oats which makes it thicker and unctuous and add herby dumplings for the last 20 minutes or so.

Unfortunately I finsihed it tonight but will bring some in here next time I make it. In the meantime do you fancy a little port and some stollen?

ETA I just looked up unctuous and it doesn't mean at all what I thought it meant. I meant gloopy in a good way.

Are you a Scot Chins? That explains the compulsion to go on raiding parties even when you neighbours are inviting you to share nicely.

I didn't know fox hunting was still allowed in Scotland. IN fact I didn't knwo they did it up there in the first place. I thought it was the pastime of the nobs in the shires.

Nibbles pork pie with onion chutney, courtesy of M&S. Lovely day out shopping, pound land in particular. Toffee pecan roulade in freezer, planets, also lemon and raspberry one, saved a couple of quid.

Shocking fog, not so bad this morning but tonight had to crawl the last 5 km home.
