Tee hee, so do I, well it has become a hamlet since I moved here. Quite a few incomers, which is lovely.

Meant to reply to planets quote about going Irish and not going back, but lost it somewhere. Had a very busy day on phone to bank, someone cloned my credit card and I had to own up to spending £38 in Poundland last week

I was disappointed, usually aim at £40. Includes bottles of Vimto, lots of liquorice, Xmas wrapping stuff, stationary for next year etc. Mrtk takes all bags to car while I hit M&S. While grumbling.

Asked bank man, happens all the time. My god, stuff on my card was Airbnb, coach (thought that was a bus company, turns out it's a luxury handbag place) thank goodness bank knows Poundland is more my thing.

Would be my first reaction too.

Reaction after I'd thought about it for a bit. But some, if not all, will genuinely want to wish you well and send good vibes.
Thanks tk (and Twass and An) appreciate the feedback. I took (all) your advice and just dropped a diagnoses in inbetween paragraphs of funny

Message for An!

There's a spanish guy posting in GD and it's reminded me of something i kept meaning to ask you and always forget. When you lived in spain did you get to visit the asturias region? It's somewhere i've always longed to visit...the mountains it looks so spectacular. I remember reading before i got ill you could do these hiking holidays through the mountains where your luggage gets driven from hotel to hotel and you get to spend the day walking throught he mountains catching it up! Sounded like heaven.

You and me both tk! So the bank alerted you to this? I'm sure I'd have little idea until the bank statement arrived if my bank didn't

Great stuff planets, you've kept them informed while not over dwelling. I feel sure any pal of yours would want to know the truth of how you are

Nice BARNET See what I did there? For anyone not familiar with Cockney Rhyming slang, Barnet means hair. Barnet Fair. I've not been to the hairdresser since about the beginning of September. Possibly why I look a bit like the wild woman of Borneo currently

It does sound like heaven doesn't it? But no I have never visted any of the provinces in Northern Spain. I have a hankering to go to Galicia. The area together with Asturias, Navarre and Cantabria really appeal to me. If I were to live in Spain I think that is where I would choose. Like Britain but with more sun and predictable weather. Excellent cusine too which we never get to hear about.

You should put this on forums where folks have had chemo and lost their hair...I'm sure they'd be very grateful!
