Evening all, didn't realise it was so late. Snaffles bacon roll, mmmh still warm and delicious. Funeralling again today, husband of a cousin of mrtk's late mother, which round here makes it close family.

Saw a laser light display Xmas thing advertised, and told mrtk. He cannot live without it now, and ordered Amazon to deliver. Trouble is, account is in my name and I have no credit card. Eek.
oh nooooooooooooooooooooo
can tkjr help you out until your new card arrives?

Excellent idea, didn't think of that. Will text tkjr (,who is on a 12 to 8 shift). Though don't think his address will do. First world problems eh??

No (my mum is though!) i'm normally really organised and chilling with a gin and tonic two weeks before christmas

this year has just run away with me

all last week was doctors and hospital and this week has been bad reaction to new pill and constant doctors wednesday thursday and tomorrow.

I have knitted 6 scarves/snoods/cowls though so that's my only achievement so far

have some more chocolate and forget everything i've just written

Thanks p. Yum. Never particularly organised, but living miles from civilisation and with a dodgy delivery service, one has to be a bit ready.

Though I probably don't have to tell you, or twass that

We did have a lovely day! I got some bargains in the charity shop and there were very few peeps about, so shopping was a pleasure. The sea was right out and the beaches were bathed in winter sun. The seabirds were calling and there was only a light breeze off the sea, so it was glorious. Next spring you need to do a little road trip to the sea. It's very bracing! That ozone air would do you the world of good

I'm scooting off to the nearest village where they have a fish and chip van on friday nights that does the BEST fish and chips EVER. She's here til Sunday afternoon....then back for the festivities

Is Redcar near to Whitby? I know that's where jet is found.

Glad you have had a rest. I got fed up of ads so put adblocker on my new tablet, and have spent all evening trying to navigate round. Ooh, jet, that sounds interesting.
