Evening all, glad to report Amazon order done, and last Xmas card written. Hope to get the decs done on Saturday, so it's coming together. Mince pies all round

THanks tk! All cards have been written, most posted, all presents bar two wrapped now, just the cheques to write now Mini twass is here for the weekend, all is good!

i've just done some clicking to do some extra shopping.
still got things to get haven't written any cards (but i have bought them!) no decorations up yet

No (my mum is though!) i'm normally really organised and chilling with a gin and tonic two weeks before christmas

this year has just run away with me

all last week was doctors and hospital and this week has been bad reaction to new pill and constant doctors wednesday thursday and tomorrow.

I have knitted 6 scarves/snoods/cowls though so that's my only achievement so far

have some more chocolate and forget everything i've just written

Thanks p. Yum. Never particularly organised, but living miles from civilisation and with a dodgy delivery service, one has to be a bit ready.

Though I probably don't have to tell you, or twass that

well i dragged myself out of bed and managed to get some christmas shopping done!!
hoorah !!!

still have a few things to get but the worst of it is done just need to wrap stuff and get my brothers box ready to post. *slumps exhausted*

We did have a lovely day! I got some bargains in the charity shop and there were very few peeps about, so shopping was a pleasure. The sea was right out and the beaches were bathed in winter sun. The seabirds were calling and there was only a light breeze off the sea, so it was glorious. Next spring you need to do a little road trip to the sea. It's very bracing! That ozone air would do you the world of good

Yes as soon as i can i shall get over to the coast i love bamburgh beach it's my favourite. although when i went to redcar after a storm i have found handfuls of jet on the beach

glad you had such a lovely day!! have you got something lovely for dinner? is minitwass up for the whole weekend?

I'm scooting off to the nearest village where they have a fish and chip van on friday nights that does the BEST fish and chips EVER. She's here til Sunday afternoon....then back for the festivities

Is Redcar near to Whitby? I know that's where jet is found.

did you get fish and chips? that sounds delicious i fancy them now!! i've got leftovers of a healthy ratatouille i made it doesn't sound as good as fish and chips *drools*
awh how lovely i'm sure yule have a great time

it's north of whitby when i was little i used to go rock pooling at staithes which is between redcar and whitby.

Glad you have had a rest. I got fed up of ads so put adblocker on my new tablet, and have spent all evening trying to navigate round. Ooh, jet, that sounds interesting.
