*looks out of window* you'll never believe it but there's scattered cheesey leeks here too moving up from the south! with outbreaks of mashed swede and ham

thanks god we've got some decent weather for a change

posted cards this afternoon put tree up and am totally knackered now off to bed!

Today's ones should be OK I think, but any last minute ones it will be a bit of a lottery if they get through in time

ho hum that's the bugger of living miles from anywhere i guess!!

oh god brussels cooked with bacon are delicious!! there's the old bacon and chestnuts and sprouts one but i've never had it with chestnuts!

i wonder what fried left over swede with a fried egg is like.....i may have made a bit too much swede yesterday

I would imagine that would be very nice....and with a rasher of bacon added or a slice of ham, even nicer
