I sort of did and didn't!

I like the show a lot but some of the gaping holes irritated me (why would 6 statues of thatcher be cast in Trebilisi 6 years ago? as a plot convenience? also they were cheap plaster no one would keep names and addresses of buyers of cheap plaster tat). When i let them go and just accepted that Mary was in fact Superman and could move faster than a speeding bullet i felt better

I liked the balloon Watson I liked the first part but i'm not convinced by Mary as a superspy, so it all fell down a bit when relying on me accepting that premise. However i did like how she and Sherlock banter and play so i was magnanimous and let it go

how about you?

well done! turkey rissoles and bread sauce for you later

p.s. i love rupert graves as greg lestrade
I did feel they were perhaps trying a bit too hard. The subtlety of earlier series seemed lacking. I did enjoy the Thatcher smashing though. Like you I thought certain bits of the plot seemed entirely ridiculous but on the whole, I enjoyed it. Possibly due to the absolute dearth of decent telly progs.

Turkey rissoles! I will be so healthy after this I will be like Mary the superspy!!

I can always watch animal programmes or nature progs in general. I've seen so much of Gordon Buchanan over the festive season he's more familiar to me than many of my family members

I've never had Ameretto....is it made of almonds?

Yes not so bad now thanks P. I have the oven on too which is helping. I found some rather sad looking parships in the fridge from before Christmas so I am roasting them and baking some spuds for purposes not yet decided.

I feel like watching 'Holiday' Kate Winslett, Jack Black, the chap who looks like my friend's brother and a blonde Amercian actress whose name I forget. Its one of thos snuggle on the sofa films that I can watch time and again.

I know the one i like that too (cameron diaz!!)
i ended up spending hours trying to connect my new blu ray player (from Father Christmas) to the internet. I didn't succeed. Neither did Talktalk when i was on the phone to them for an hour bah Mind you it's taken them 3 months to get my new router to work so the odds weren't good...

then i made the weirdest sounding but utterly delicious dinner!!
turkey rissoles
bread sauce
and stir friedn red onion carrot and sprouts in hoisin sauce.
holy crap you'd think that was an odd combination that wouldn't work but it was delicious!!!

more almondy drink please !!

help yourself P. At 4.99 from Lidl we can indulge ourselves generously. It is deceptively alchoholic though. hic.

I can't decide if that posted by "The Sleeper" at 12.30 midnight is apt or ironic. Either way morning Sleeps.
