Afternoon all, it's actually really warm and sunny here, and my head is beginning to feel a little less like a cauldron of boiling mucus!

Probably, I just boil the cabbage, drain and mix in a small teaspoon of spiced pear and apple chutters. LUSH!

oh right i layer the cabbage with apple and onions in a large casserole dish. each layer gets a sprinkling of the garlic sugar spices then when it's full pour on red wine vinegar and shove it in the oven for a couple of hours!

well it does about 12 portions so i eat it for a few days and then portion it up for the freezer in individual portion size boxes/bags!! so you cook once then it's just a quick re heat whenever you want it again. It's so delicious it really is worth it. Doesn't really take any more effort cos you still have to chop the cabbage no matter hoe it's cooked!!

the swede is the worst for chopping i'm so feeble it's a bloody nightmare to peel and chop that wee bugger up

I'm rubbish at swedes and big butternut squashes, I can barely get the chopper through them. I've always been a bit feeble!!

Just made a quick dinner of defrosted king prawns, rice, chilli, onion and garlic, with peas, broccoli and chopped cherry tomatoes. Delish and very fast!

i've forgotten when i put the ham in the slow cooker. I know i planned to have it in by 2pm but i think i got distracted so i think it was in just before 3pm
i wish whoever stole my brain would return it

ooo dinner sounds nice!
i love a chinesey style stir fry i might do one with some of the left over ham...
i'm drooling over the thought of bread sauce at the moment

I've had so much bread sauce this week with all the turkey dinners I am satiated with it for the moment. A rice stir fry is so easy and you can bung in literally anything you have. With chopped cold ham I would do a chopped omelette, onion, peas, tomatoes and some toasted cashew nuts....with plenty of soy sauce!
