Bit of music from the far frozen north....it might fetch Moose back!!

Louhi spoke in riddled
Tones of three things to achieve
Find and catch the devil's moose
And bring it here to me

Seek the stallion born of fire
Harness the flaming horse
He captured and bound the moose
He tamed the golden horse

FOUND! a decent supermarket so its sangria for all. Also have turron but it won't go with the sangria and is the last thing Planet's teeth need. We have patatas arrigadas cooking gently on the stove. They will be about another 15 minutes. I have made mojo to go with them.

Very impressed that you are so far ahead with the "Yule" preparations Twass. Especially since you don't do Christmas. I hate the cards and presants bit. I love gving the presents but hunting them down is a pain. I don't midn the wrapping and enjoy making them elaborate and pretty for under the tree. I like doing the tree as well. I won't do it this year of course but its an elaborate ritual that is done with accompnaying drinies and has to be jsut so. Every bauble is place to perfection and it can take me three happy hours to complete.

I also like the foodie bit of Christams, plannign the meals and the cooking. And the shopping is easy it just means and extra visit to the market and maybe 15 miniutes longer in the supermarket.

Ooh, sangria!

I may not do Christmas, but my kids and other family still expect all the bells and whistles. If you could see my decorations you'd see the pagan twist

I love wrapping the prezzies and do twirly ribbons and little tags made from last years cards etc....the food side, been invited to son and DIL's on 25 Dec, so a whopping bit of beef is to be roasted....
