Sorry to hear about 'Little' Moose. Hopefuly its something that she purges and is alright. But great news that Dexter is back. I had rather lost hope there if I am honest.

We have had a pet cat adopt us here. We have called him Diego. He is such a friendly cat. He just joins us and sits all day, meowing as and when. He makes no attempt to go into the villa and doesn't beg at the table. However he did feast on prawn heads tonight which he crunched on very happily.

He obviously knows cat people when he finds them. My brother has a cat Kenco, my sister's cat Scraggs died recently at quite an age. I don't have one on account of living ina flat and an allergy but I do love them. Diego has been on my lap half the evening and I am itching like mad.
Aw, poor Diego must have fleas But I bet he enjoyed the prawny heads and a bit of love from you An!

Well he may have fleas. He does quite a lot of rolling in this volcanic grit that does for soil here. But he appears to be a healthy well fed pet cat, not a scraggy stray. I am allregic to all cats - not their fault, just one of those things.

What a shame to be allergic to cats, it seems a lot of folks are.

Evening tk, hope your limping is less! I usually limp and occasionally even give in to a stick, however for the past few weeks having used a product called Flexisec, I am not limping at all. PAIN FREE WALKING!! Oh the utter bliss, I hope it lasts, first time in four years!!
Interesting, my bad knee is due to cartilage damage and arthritis setting in ( far too many years jiving) and I have finally learned that the key is managing it. On a difene a day which helps with the inflammation, and a rub of voltarol when it flares up. Have seen flexiseq advertised here, and thought of giving it a go, good to hear it helps you

That reminds me, going back to their fussiness. My lot absolutely hate prawns My old cat loved them and Thecatformerlyknownaspoorlylegnowcalledgreg goes mental for them. So I once bought a bag especially for my girls. Norty and Missing were disgusted and refused to even entertain them. Little looked mortified but seeing the scowl on my face very bravely tried to chew her way through one. The look on her face was akin to a child being told they can't leave the table till they've eaten all their greens! One down, she ran for bloody dear life and refused to come back in the house till I'd removed all trace of them

An, you just need to get half a dozen and build up your immunity

My dearly beloved fat furry catpuss, Rosie Bagpuss, would look at me on Christmas day when I offered her poached salmon and prawns as if I was some sort of mad sadistic torturer. I always offered and she always loudly demanded her crunchies and chunks n slop. She knew what she liked She left the chunks, just licked off the slop

This is Spain so they don't do the international booze selection we are used to (advantage of not really making our own vino is we get to pick from a world wide smorgasbord of options). I will sort out the Frenchie's eversion when we get back but for now its Cava, Sangria. Spanish wine or spirits of whatever nation. Weird thing is that here a carton of DonSimon Spanish red at 1.15 euros tastes like nectar. However I have brought it home and somewhere over the Atlantic it turns to pure vinegar. Odd.
I'll never forget my first trip to Spain and dropping into a bodega down the street; several barrels of wine, priced 90c to 95c per litre. Locals bringing in 5 litre jerrycans. Supermarket, 1 litre wine costing far less than 1 litre milk. But you are right An, it doesn't travel!

Bizarre indeed. OMG blowing nose hard watched Secret Life Of Children for the first time tonight, and they were doing the Nativity play. Undoes me at the best of times, the innocence.
