Spent a couple of days over Xmas searching for a lady who's disappeared in our village and I hate New Year's Eve with a passion. I think I must have been traumatised by it in some way when I was a child

New Year's Eve is a weird one isn't it? There's the overriding atmosphere of "You Must Have Fun Now" which makes me want to rebel at being forced in a particular direction....

No, the lady hasn't been found. She left her house (in my village) in her jarmies at 3 in the morning on Boxing Day and cctv shows her walking on Newcastle quayside (11 miles away) at 6 am. No sightings since after a perfectly normal Xmas day with her family. Very odd.

Ah! i know who you are talking about now.....i was reading about her earlier. Very peculiar indeed. I wondered if she had slipped or been pushed into the water whilst at the quayside? I do hope she is found, but it is such a strange incident. I suppose the longer she is missing the less likely she will be found
