The Voice is terrible for a number of reasons. The main reason I can't stand it is cos will.i.am does my tits in. The other reason it's a joke of a tv show is that it has produced ZERO stars. Not a single one - aside from Becky Hill who had a number 1 in 2014 and is "critically acclaimed". Her track Losing is brilliant.
In fact, MBTM in 2010 produced more top 10 singles than The Voice has achieved in four series!!! Maybe The Voice need to get Dizzee Rascal, Sharleen Spiteri and Jamie Cullum on the judging panel, and get Fearne Cotton on board to present the show. It seemed to work for Sky One at the time. Encourage people to perform their own original songs and they'd be onto a winner.

I love the format of NBC The VOICE. ie. 2 annual cycles, iTunes releases, high profile Coaches like Christina, Blake, Ceelo Green
This is my favourite part from NBC VOICE audition page "We are judging you on your VOICE. Come dressed in a style that represents you as an artist. Do NOT come in "chicken costumes." We are looking for serious artists ONLY." http://www.nbcthevoice.com/auditions/howtoaudition |

The last time X Factor got renewed, it was renewed together with Britain's Got Talent. You know, the show that has higher ratings than X Factor and The Voice.
Anyway, most likely ITV plans to air the Voice in winter/spring, so they can have talent shows all year round. |

I think The Voice USA is amazing, much better than the UK show, greater talent all around. The coaches in the US all have genuine charisma and chemistry with each other.
Hopefully they'll be able to reboot it on ITV, and make it as good as it can be. I like X Factor, but The Voice is a better format in my opinion. |

I think the theory about them replacing TXF with TV is less about the ratings and more that it is a lot cheaper, so better value for money for the ratings it gets. But on the other hand, they need a hit for Q1 anyway, so I expect them to keep both.

The Voice is absolutely abysmal, a terrible imitator of the format with a dire process and 0 success. I could see ITV buying it to use as a bargaining tool against the price of XF when its up for renewal after next year.

The Voice should move to Ch5. I do honestly believe it would suit the channel the best. ITV don't need it, at all. Unless they already know TXF is going...

ITV have doubled the BBC money to £22million. XF is going to be cancelled if thats the kind of money being thrown at it.

It depends on which source you read, and what you believe, but I read that ITV have paid £12 million, which is what BBC paid last time. The BBC offered less this time because they didn't want to get involved in a bidding war. That's a way of saying they didn't really want to keep it. |

I don't think The Voice should stay with BBC anyway they got rid of Tom Jones who was one of the main reasons people liked the show.
Itv probably just want both The Voice and X factor I don't think they're getting rid of xfactor at all. |
