1. A much, much better show than last week. So happy about that.

2. Liked seeing Peter doing a dance that suited him.

3. Looks like Katie's confidence has flown right out the window. For me, she danced with the expectation that it didn't matter what she did, she'd get hammered for it. Once the nerves kick in like that it's hard to come back.

4. Enjoyed the AT much more on second viewing. Which is nice for me, but not so good on live show with one view only.

5. Fast forward, how do I love thee? Not watching the intro VTs makes the whole show a lot better.

Totally agree. I haven't watched anything on SCD apart from the dances, critiques and scores for years. That's all you need in the show imo.

1. Yes Peter was very good. But no, it wasn't the best dance of the series. Predictably overmarked. Felt very much like they were manipulating the leader board this week more than usual.
2. Actually found them all to be fairly good this week but Carol's time is definitely up as much as I like her.
3. Although it was still good, little underwhelmed by Anita (despite being one of my favourites). Maybe I expected too much and hyped it up in my head beforehand.
4. Also underwhelmed by Jay (another of my favourites). Still good but didn't blow me away and same with Helen (also a favourite ). Thought there could have been more content in her Rumba
5. Liked Georgia and Kellie this week but Georgia's routine had too much faffing at the start and Kellie's dress......seriously? Great routine but worried that the waltz is often a bit forgettable.

Cheeky last one........Really hoped the Quickstep would be Katie's return to grace. That said I think the judges are being overly harsh to her more than others when they are less than perfect.

1. Like Georgia but she was overmarked I saw some mistakes it was no way a 9 for me

2. This was the week Peter returned brilliant dance but not the best dance this year that still belongs to Jay's Jive.

3. Anita & Gleb did an amazing jive for the first time this series they got the marks they deserved

4. Every week it's reminding more of 2012 with Jay the judges saying he needs to perform more like they did with Louis and you know what happened there and it will be the same this year.

5. I'm not concerned about Jay yes he has a standout dance with his jive in week 3 but he hasn't peaked yet and will stay have some amazing dances

6. The top 4 on the leaderboard should be the final 4

There was NO hip action in Helen's rhumba, it was very poor.

The nerves got to Jay bigtime - such a shame.

I knew Peter's Charleston would be great, but it still does not make him a proper dancer.

It really is Carol's time to go now, here's hoping.......

I absolutely love Giovanni and Gleb now, hope they are back next year. Oti too.

1. Found it quite difficult to acknowledge that Peter was a worthy top of the leader board.

2. As Bridget would say - v. v. disappointed with Katie & Anton

3. Aliona was superb in that AT, but it did bring back memories of Kristina pole dancing around Ben Cohen, as Jay was given very little to do. (I may be wrong about that, as I could hardly drag my eyes away from Aliona!)

4. Don't care if there were a couple of mistakes - Georgia was a-may-zing!

5. Hope Jamelia is given a break from the DO this week. I can't really take to her as a person, but she is trying, and we all know that there are at least 2 worse dancers than her still left in.

-Much better show than last week
-Peter deserved top spot.
-Anita's jive was fantastic. Highly watchable. I thought she should have been given top spot as well since hers was a more difficult routine, IMO.
-Jay danced the AT like he was dancing the quick step or waltz, I thought. Very upright. There was not much A frame that CRH always talks about.
-Georgia's dance was highly watchable as well but -- I don't know how to put it -- it was like the Samba was dancing Georgia; not Georgia dancing the Samba.

1 Peter's dance was entertaining, but 9s rather than 10s as they were out of synch sometimes

2 Jay's AT was much better on 2nd viewing, but thought they could have given him a few more kicks (Joanne though said it was amazing - on the balcony to Kellie)

3 Jeremy was etertaining as always, but hope they wind back the comedy as he's improving

4 Couldn't somebody have moved that mop out of Anita's way? Put me off, luckily it didn't seem to put them off - jive was good

5 Kellie's nice traditional ballroom could have done with a nice traditional ballroom dress

Sneaky 6th - Jay is definitely not a multi- millionaire if that room was 'home' or even a hotel room

1) Two 10s for Peter? Huh?!
2) I thought Jay and Aliona's AT was awesome. Not getting the negativity from some towards it.
3) Carol - there's the door.
4) Kellie and Kevin's song was the only thing I liked about their dance.
5) Alijaz. Hello. 😍

Sneaky 6) JEREMY AND THAT HORSE!

1. Much better show than last week but still no Man in the Hat

2. Jamelia looked beautiful. Her dress as the best of the night (of the celebs).

3. Whoever decided to put the lovely Georgia in beige needs shooting

4. Jay might have danced great but the lighting was so poor I couldn't tell. It looked like he was chasing the spotlight around the dance floor.

5. I hate the Charleston and last night has not changed my opinion at all.

1 Peter was better, but nothing would ever persuade me to vote for him I'm afraid. He seemed to have dropped the 'umbleness.

2 Enjoyed Jay...watching him is always a nervous ride

3 Helen and Katie falling behind the front runners ?

4 No to that bloomin' horse.

5 Kellie didn't just look bad, she looked an utter mess. I was completely distracted from the dance.

Jay's AT was good and with a few more flicks would have been excellent. Get him to an acting coach to shut the detractors up.
Kellie's dress was awful and Kevin's pants did not fit. His shirt looked like a pair of curtains.
Katie was better than Jamelia even with mistakes. I think she has lost confidence.
Anita is good but it's becoming the Gleb show.
Carole. I have no words. Enough.

1. Peter was over marked. While I have to grudgingly admit that was probably his best dance - -I don't think it was worth those 10's .
2. Jay's AT was great- he did so well- why all this focus on his facial expression? He didn't need to frown or growl or gurn his way through an AT! The judges were picking holes.
3. I enjoyed Georgia and Giovanni's samba, but have to admit I was mainly watching Giovanni's dancing throughout! He was so good! Thought ' look at his little legs go!'
They had one of the best songs last night too, but took a while to get going.
4. I felt sorry for Katie and threw her a vote hoping they'd stay in. Yes she made mistakes but I think she was a little bit unfairly treated compared to some.
5. Kellie and Kevin's outfits - omg, could they have made them look any more dull?! And while I'm here- waving their Charleston light sabers at the start? Biggest Whaaat? Of the night! Talk about nostalgia- for one of their earlier dances?!
Extra- 6. Carol, poor love- that wasn't dancing, it was embarrassing to watch! Enough.

I think this is the first time I've posted on this thread!

1) Helen;s rumba was not great, no hip action whatsoever, which every single judge failed to mention, it looks very stiff and awkward to me

2) got totally bored with Kellie and Kevins waltz and why not a ballroom gown for Kellie?

3) didn't understand the praise for Anita in her jive, thought it was her worst dance so far

4) really time for Carol to leave

5) loved Aliona and Jays AT - Aliona is mesmerising to watch - Jay does need to see an acting coach or someone to help him combat his nerves

1) Don't know why they persist with the AT, no amateur dancer could make their legs 'flicky' enough to match a professional AT

2) A lot of the outfits were 'meh', particularly poor Kellie in a nice but unglamourous flowery skirt and a top that didn't match it in any way at all

3) I don't think Katie is very good, people keep criticising Anton but that seems to be the most likely reason their dances keep flopping

4) Tristran is growing on me - I'm starting to like his laid back personality

5) Tess didn't say 'Well we LUVVED it!' once as far as I can remember, which was a big improvement on last week

Have to very reluctantly admit to say this but Peter Andre was good.

1. Georgia and Giovani's dance was great, however she made quite a few mistakes which judges never picked up on.
2. Kellie and Kevin's dance was boring and theme cringey
3. Jay lacked passion and intensity but dance was good
4. Jeremy's theme was a joke. He should have done a straight tango
5. Helen had no hip action her legs were poker straight. She's not sexy at all

1. This show was 100% better than last weeks' disaster

2. I feel sorry for Jeremy, they are trying to make him the comedy contestant and he so wants to learn to dance and takes its seriously. Speak up for yourself Jeremy and don't let them put you on a stupid horse!

3. Jay reminds me of Rachel Stevens - good technically but struggles to put emotion in the dance.

4. Peter and Janette's Charleston was really enjoyable and a great opening to the show.

5. Somebody seems to have found the cure for Giovanni's sweating problems!

1. Jeanette is the queen of lifts. Amazing.
2. Where did Helen's hip action disappear to? Thought she had finally cracked it with the samba.
3. Hilarious frantic routine by Gleb. Not in a good way hilarious.
4. Weird routine by Aliona. She is usually much better in going for style over content. There was a lot going on (mainly danced by her) - less of that and more intimacy would've been good I think.
5. Carol isn't even trying. Why is she still in?

I'm wondering the same! Her hips looked great in the samba. It was almost like she was trying her best not to move them in that Rumba

1) Jay really needs to stop looking like he his passing a parcel around with Aliona, talk about awkward.
2) Peter did deserve the first place on the leaderboard, but also because there was little competition.
3). Must have been watching a different dance to everybody else, but Anita's Jive was quite poor on the technical side (throwing yourself in it with lots of energy only gets you that far)
4. There is discussion about what is Aljaz's favourite dance, well we at least have discovered his least favourite one. Hopefully his choreo will pick up again next week.
5. The Year of the Anton has officially been buried this weekend.

1) Apart from the losses of balance, Georgia's Samba was absolute dynamite - fantastic.
2) I didn't really pay attention to Peter's performance admittedly so I was shocked when he got two 10s.
3) I was so willing for Katie to do well. I think my dream for her may well and truly be over now.
4) Tess sounded like she was struggling throughout the show.
5) Getting bored of Jeremy and Carol now.

1. Peter's best dance but I wouldn't have given it a 10 (Janette looked fabulous in that wig!)
2. Loved Anita's jive, I always look forward to her performances
3. Georgia seriously improving, great Samba, although slightly too frantic in places - as a previous poster mentioned, Giovanni's legs were mesmerising, they moved so fast!
4. Please let this be Carol's last week
5. So disappointed in Katie, I wonder if she is putting in the practice hours (they used to give some stats on ITT a while ago)

1) Peter's back
2) Aliona was fantastic in that AT.
3) Still not understanding why the judges over-criticise Katie and under-criticise others. Anton needs to choreograph to Katie's ability and allow more time for training otherwise they will be out within three weeks.
4) Probably the most polished show of the series so far.
5) The momentum is with Georgia and Giovanni

1) Happy for Peter Andre that he's at last shown he really can entertain.

2) Sad that Katie's explosive start in week 1(/VW) was really her best work.

3) Tristan's undisguised "You're jokin'!" expression on getting through to next week <3

4) Glad to be proved right that GG would do a feel-good ballroom Samba (instead of yet another party latin- yay!)

5) I like gurn-free Argentine Tangos.
