How is Georgia second in the leaderboard? She wafted her skirt, did some promenade runs and a samba walk. Helen does no Rumba and gets marks knocked off, Jay gets pulled up for missing steps in his AT, but nation's sweetheart Georgia just shakes and shimmies and gets 9s!

I know I'm late to the party expected the judges scores to reflect the dance in front of them but it was blatant double standards tonight :/

No content! What a load of tosh. The speed at which they executed that dance was incredible.

Jay and Georgia are both great, what's with the nasty 'nations sweetheart' comment. A bit unnecessary in making your point.

No content! What a load of tosh, the speed they moved at was incredible.
Go on then, identify the Samba steps in that routine.

1) Samba walk
2) Promenade Runs

No botafogos, no voltas, just shimmying.

I can't seem to take to Georgia but have to admit she is a fantastic little dancer.

If she carries on dancing like she did last week and as she did tonight I can see her winning the trophy.

It just annoys me that she can do no wrong regardless of the actual quality of dance!! Whilst Jay and Helen both got marked down for lacking content...

I think she's starting to shine at the right time. Good for her.

I thought she was absolutely brilliant - the way she started sitting down and then shot across the dancefloor like a rocket was brilliant!

I, like the majority of people who watch the show, am no expert on the steps involved in each and every rroutine. What I saw was an energetic, well executed dance that certainly resembled a samba to me.

I just have a small inkling that the reason Georgia's second on the leaderboard might be because her dance was pretty damn good. There may not have been a huge variety in the basic steps she attempted, but, for the majority of the dance, the steps she was dancing were pure Samba, so to say there was virtually no content in there is pretty blatantly not true.

Yes she was... underscored in my opinion, much better than Anita (who was over scored) and Peter. On another forum an actual professional dancer who has competed praised Gerogia and her dance. Maybe you're wrong?

The notion that Georgia never gets criticised for lack of content is rubbish - are we forgetting their rumba and Gio's run in with Len?

I thought Jay was the nation's pet?

Your bias is showing...

You could criticise a huge percentage of dances on that basis.

I agree. No samba rolls either. And in no way is this critique a personal attack on Georgia. I always see the dances, not who dances them. I love Jay but thought his AT was underwhelming tonight. Technically good but lacked passion and emotion. I was disappointed as I was hoping for so much more.

He might be to some, but he gets pulled up when his dances aren't up to scratch (I.e. Tonight and his Quickstep) there is no bias.

The notion that Georgia never gets criticised for lack of content is rubbish - are we forgetting their rumba and Gio's run in with Len?
And since then there was uproar that Len went OTT, yet only when Gio was criticised, not Aljaz or Aliona...

30 seconds sat down, a good 30 seconds shimmying. That's two thirds of the dance not "Pure Samba". The dancing she did do was good, but not nearly enough of it!

Like them or loathe them, the judges are fair. She deserved the 9's.

His attack on Gio was quite aggressive and personal, that has not been the case with any of the others. Most criticised the manner in which he criticised Gio, not the fact that he did.
