The whole concept of last night was bonkers. How is reinvention mashing up 2 songs? Taking one great song and ruining it is bad enough, but two???!!!

yeah i agree , it was really confusing and what was a good theme in theory turned out to be poorly executed

there seemed to be three different types of "re-invention" , either the mashup route as you say , an act doing a song the same as the original but in a style that was not their usual style or taking a song and re-arranging it

This show was definitely out of it's way to sabotage Anton, Mason, Monica, and Kiera tonight, and I'm still torn on what they was doing to Louisa with Billie Jean as well, although she's not my cup of tea so I'm not as bothered about that one as I am with the other 4 who I happen to think have got potential to be interesting and give out decent performances for the series.

The only two that was vocally good tonight in my opinion was Seann and Max.

I think this was the worst ever x factor show, its as if Cowell is taking the whatsname.

He is so manipulative maybe he wants the show axed. Back in the day he cared about his acts, now he is making the most ridiculous song choices for them deliberately, or maybe has scouted the girl group and they are the only ones he intends signing.

Yeah I thought it was an absolute diabolical show. Horrendous versions of some already very bad song choices to start with. Next week please.

Trouble is they don't realise they have some awesome talent in the Top 13 this year but are too interested in seeing their chosen more marketable contestants win then allowing artists to be themselves. If they just stopped the blatant manipulation then it could win back viewers under a different guise.

So many "consultants" behind the scenes and they can't figure out how to match voice + personality + song + staging. I didn't enjoy any single performance last night, and what they did to Anton was beyond a joke.

See everyone knows the girl group are the Chosen Ones and will win it, so the rest isn't worth watching.. it is too predictable and past it's best.

I mean change the format and name, and stop the manipulation and they might win back voters.
