Having only watched since 2012.

Has that ever happened?

Anyway, Jeremy is leaving at Blackpool and assuming we lose both Jamelia and Carol between that, it means the contenders (or the good dancers) are all still in it after Blackpool week.

Also, Anton has gone out twice in Blackpool in recent years (if I am correct), so he and Katie are also in danger there (if Jeremy survives the dance-off). The year of the Anton has gone out of the window and much will depend on their dance on the night. Probably ballroom, but what I understand from Monkseal's stats is that Anton has ALWAYS been eliminated on a ballroom dance (plus the fact that they only have the more "boring" ballroom dances left).”

Not quite always - two on latin, seven on ballroom, three in a two dance week. I think the "never" is that he's never been eliminated on a party latin (cha cha/salsa/samba/jive if you include that) alone, which is normally what he gets "picked on" for the most.

I haven't a spare bedroom so they'll have to use the couch in the front room.

I don't mind who stays in the show. I quite enjoy surprise eliminations!

If people want to vote for either of them for whatever reasons they deem fit then it's up to them.

Yes it would be a crying shame to lose one of the "better" (in terms of dance content and ability) competitor but it is what it is. The "best" doesn't always win and it's a highly subjective point anyway as to whom the best is.

Personally I have flung votes in Jeremy's direction as I've enjoyed his dancing, but now that we are entering the phase where I don't want the ones with ability to go, then I have stopped doing that

I too have voted for Jeremy as he is so entertaining and trying really hard, he deserves a few votes just for his improvement as he is clearly not a natural dancer. In fact my votes go to those who I think deserve them for my own reasons and not because they are at the top of the leader board.
So many good dancers this year, who appear to have a natural ability, so it's easier to vote for the improvement in those who haven't.

I find Carol so sweet but just boring to watch on the floor; she can go anytime for me! Jeremy is just too entertaining - I'm not ready for him to go yet. Quite happy for the middle-of-the-roaders to start going now eg Jamelia.
