Why is Tristan not wearing a poppy? All the other celebs, dancers,judges and presenters are. Disrespectful.

Ummm, because he chooses not to (I guess because of his nationality). It's not compulsory - when did the UK turn into a dictatorship? It's getting a bit out of hand IMO, what's next, rounding up those without poppies and shooting them? People who died in the wars died to preserve our freedom, including the freedom of choice! Leave him alone (and I say this as a poppy wearer).

Firstly, he is from Ireland, poppies are a British tradition.

Secondly, he doesn't have to because we have freedom of thought, people died for us to retain freedom of thought. Demanding that people conform to your will is actually far more disrespectful.

It's like forcing people to think in one way, or wear a star to represent their faith...and no one wants that, do they?
