the only person this year i had any hopes for that got close to the lives was ben , but he got over-shadowed by bigger personalities and his performance at JH was a bit meh, the only female singer i liked on the show this year was the girl in rock and rose who had a bit of a cranberries thing going on
really getting fed up this year with the constant excuses that are being made to defend average or below average singers. whether it be their age, their sex, their genre or the colour of their skin when at the end of the day most of them just aren't very good.”
I agree that Kiera isn't the most amazing vocalist that's ever gonna be seen on a Talent Show, I just don't think that it's fair that her and Mason in particular are being pushed aside by the producers with the song choices just because they don't belt at us, Kiera showed us that she was a lot better with her sing-off last week so they should just let her do something similar to that again, and with Mason he desperately needs a song from The Weeknd, personally I would like him to do either Earned It or The Hills.
But going back on track, if Kiera and Mason (and any other subtle act this series) was being given good song choices for their genres and was still messing them up then yes that's all on the contestants then, but they're not being given a fair chance by the production in my view.
