The only dancers I really want in the finally are Anita and Georgia. I'd be happy with any of the others bar Katie or Jeremy.

4 in the final. They don't do the double elimination anymore. They used to have 5 in the semi-final with two going leaving 3 for the final. Now they only have one going in the semi-final and 4 finalists.
Then before the final dance of the final they announce who has finished 4th. The remaining three do their final dance and the winner is announced of the three leaving the other two both as runner up (we don't get to find out which was 2nd and which was 3rd)

That's why I hate the dance off - no matter how big their public support, once the numbers dwindle it becomes impossible for the person at the bottom of the leaderboard to avoid the dance off. Jeremy hasn't got a chance in hell to make the final. That is the real unfairness of strictly, I think, not the fact that ringers are included, but the total protection they get through the dance off.

Good point! I'm sure their show dance would be some spectacle based on the choreography we've seen from Gleb so far.

Well if, say, Jeremy was bottom of the judge's leaderboard and top of the public voting he'd go through to the final.
Trouble is if he's not quite at the top of the public vote - he could end up in the dance off and be out.
If the PTB must have the dance-off, they shouldn't have it for the semi-final as there are too few contestants, even with 4 in the final.
They could have something else to fill the missing few minutes in the last Sunday show - a world champion pair? viewers' choice of previous dances? training clips?

Instead of Jeremy I would like to see Jamelia (I know a controversial choice, but I like her) so for me it would be Jay Anita, Georgia and Jamelia.
