There's this odd clan mentality amongst people that is utterly pointless. So many people seem to think that if you really dislike one writer/episode/idea, then another is absolutely superb.
If you think Death in Heaven was rubbish, then you're the sort of person who probably enjoys crap like Doomsday.
If you hate an episode like Journey's End, then The Wedding of River Song is probably more your sort of thing.
If you think David Cameron is a d*ck, then you must think sunshine comes out of Corbyn's proverbial.
People just seem to think in absolutes, often regardless of subject matter. Even on this page someone refers to us as a collective 'we' when sharing their opinion, as if their opinion applies across the board. I try to ignore these self-important people, but it goes to show how worryingly narrow-minded the majority of people are.
