The notion that Che is too boring to be successful
Nobby Burton

Where does this nonsense come from?

Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, George Ezra are hardly oozing with charisma, yet are 3 of the current most successful male artists on the planet

It's not 2006 anymore. People want to listen to voices, not gimics

Che is so boring, zero charisma and personality, the ones you said about have that, Che doesn't. The guy can sing, no doubt, but he is sooo bland.

But those people you mentioned have great material.

Che would never get that- especially not working with Simon Cowell. Cowell serves up novelty hits, cover songs and trashy tunes dependant on image for the most part.

Hmm i don't think Che is as good as Sam,George or Ed to be fair and Simon Cowel will only give him 2nd rate songs to sing if he won.

To be fair to Che

I've never once listened to a song and thought "you know what...I bet they have a belting personality"

Who cares? He can sing awesome and nobody knows yet whether he can write great material he's new to this world give him a chance

^^This. I hope he doesn't win though. Cowell will destroy him the same way TPTB at The Voice ruined Leanne's chances with one song.

Insanity is repeating the same mistake over and over again. Why on earth are people still trying to argue that Che could be successful after many, many years of XF male singers flopping hard. Its actually mind boggling to me. We are not measuring potential against whats already out there, but what came before him. Che cannot be like Sam Smith, Ed Sheehan etc.. because he will never be accepted in the music industry in the same way. His material won't be as good either. It's just the raw facts. This is why the show is failing, the stupid audience favouring of male acts that never have success and just waste everyones time.

The problem I have with Che is that he's practically an X Factor Sam Smith clone.

Their vocal styles are so similar that I don't really see what Che would contribute to the UK music industry apart from being an Aldi Sam Smith.

Being "boring" isn't his problem. He lacks originality, and that is his downfall imo.

You use Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and George Ezra as three examples in the OP - but they're vocal styles are so different from each other. George has a deep tone, Sam has that often quite shrill falsetto, and Ed does the whole sing-speak style.

He still looks like someone who would work in the IT department of your workplace and will come and fix your computer.

He is very fixed in what he believes his strengths are ue just stand there and sing
