Those were just rumours, it seems to be official now though.
They have verified Facebook and Twitter pages set up and the announcement will be made today!

I LOVED Busted when I was 10 years old and I cried when they split. I am genuinely surprised that Charlie has decided to return though. He has Fightstar and his solo projects, and seemed to be doing quite well with that so maybe it's not about money? That would be a lovely thought.

If it was about the money, he'd have signed on prior to McBusted forming and done the reunion then. There's an interesting article on their website about why he changed his mind and why now - http://busted.com/

My best mate from school and I are hoping to get tickets to the O2. Our thirteen year old selves are very excited

I think the reason Charlie is doing this now is because he had a kid recently did he not?

So maybe he's trying to get as much financial support as he can for his family and obviously a Busted reunion would be the best way going about that.

Even though my music taste has seriously moved on from pop-rock, I will be going to this, Busted were the first band I ever saw live, so it'll be nice to revisit that for old times sake, just have to choose between Wembley or the O2.

This occurred to me too. The same goes for Matt as well, I suppose.

Of course it's about money. Charlie took a big payoff for not doing the McBusted thing and has seen how successful that was so he's gone back.

Think it's part to do with the freedom they would have as a band the second time round.

They'll probably appreciate it a lot more this time around. Not to say that they didn't appreciate it back then, but they've had time away from Busted to think about their achievements. The same could be said for Take That.
