So many of Corrie's characters are written as psycho/sociopaths and yet we're not supposed to see them that way eg. Anna, Liz, Kym Marsh, Todd, Tracy, and Sophie.

Normally I don't have much time for Faye, but I really did feel for her with Anna always on her back about keeping the baby. You're right, she was being selfish and really didnt stop to think about how it'd affect Faye having to bring up a baby only Anna wanted at that point.

Seriously, are people still going on about that bloody kitchen? Yes, Joe's downfall was all down to the Windass family, it wasn't because he was a complete prat and kept causing more problems for himself and digging a deeper hole. Funny how people overlook the fact David could be seen as a contributor to Joe's problems as he taunted him over his pill addiction, which led to him having a breakdown and breaking into the medical center. Anyway, back to the point. My main issue with Izzy is that she acts like Alya broke her and Gary up, but (if I recall correctly) she wasn't with Gary at the time. It wasn't until he became attracted to Alya that Izzy got the wrong idea and thought Gary wanted back with her, but that wasn't the case.
Personally I wish Izzy would just leave now, she is just a spare part.

Agreed, she's dreadful. Can't act. Agree with a lot of the opinions about Anna, she's a very unlikeable character with no redeeming qualities.
I really loathe Anna as a character. There's no redeeming features to her whatsoever. Also I think it's hilarious how she was judging alya for infidelity when it wasn't that long ago she was unfaithful to Owen. Regardless of whether Phelan was blackmailing her, she could have told Owen but she didnt. Her hypocrisy is the main reason I dislike her well that and her fishwife tendencies

I was talking in relation to Anna acting as if Gary and her family are perfect and have no form for doing wrong. It's true though, I will never forget her and her family's history for as long as she acts like an arch hypocrite. As for any part David has played it isn't relevant in this thread about Anna being such a bitch to Alya. You're right about Izzy. I've said several times, she wasn't even with Gary when he he started going out with Alya. I think she had the idea that they may get back together but they hadn't done so I believe. She ended the relationship because she was sick of him so I really don't see why she is acting so high and mighty.

Embarrising Faye in front of all her peers, whinging at her and causing a huge scene in public and forcing her to look after Miley instead of having an education all because Faye chose to go to school and so Anna had to take her granddaughter to a (doctors checkup???).

That's silly, there are plenty of spare part characters. Maybe izzy just needs a story line. Still, they've axed better characters I suppose.

Yes, I really hated her during that moment I must admit. And the way she gave him this disgusting look.
Which is a shame because at the start of that year she was one of the better things of the Roy and Hayley storyline and how she dealt with the situation.
