Anyone think she has an outside chance of winning this? the GBP love a "journey" and Jay has peaked too early.. just saying, don't rule her out !

I've always liked Anita since the start but cringed a bit with the cringey 'Gleb a god' thing which overshadowed them at the start.

She has had the benefit of being able to perform without too much expectation which others like Jay, Helen etc have had and therefore far less pressure in that respect.

I'd really like to see her make it to the final.

I'd absolutely love either her or Georgia to win it, but I don't realistically think it's going to happen.

I still try to have some optimism though

I like Anita but was also put of by the Halo put over Gleb's head.

Not a bad little dancer though...whether final material I really do not know.

Anita has my 2nd favourite from the beginning and think she is dark for the win. For me I know a lot of people will disagree with me she is the best female dancer.

Dark horse for the final maybe, will be fighting it out for a place with a few of them.

But not even an outside chance of winning.

She has made so much progress that I am of the mind that she might just do it. Also the fact that a novice has accomplished so much proves that there are some people in this world who have the mindset of doing well in whatever they do.

I agree. This is what the Old School Strictly was about. Novices progressing and going on a "journey" without sounding too cliche.

No chance of winning, but she will make the final (riding the Gleb special train).

Can't see it myself, as she seems to be at the same level in both ballroom and latin since the beginning. But people love a beginner, I guess. In terms of dance ability she would probably only be 6th, as people say it's an entertainment show foremost (which is why Carol and Jeremy are still in it).

Why can't she win? Many of her fans are Jay fans (find me a fan of hers who isn't) and nearing the end of the series they won't risk it to spread their votes. Might take her to the final, but there most of her votes will be going to Jay.

Really? Can't say I've noticed any significant cross-over between the two (on social media).

And me. I like Jay and his dances but wouldn't say I was a fan as such (never voted for him for example).

I've had Anita down as my dark horse for a while. She's definitely in with a shot IMO however small it may be.

Georgia and Anita both started off well though .. they were far from hopeless. There is no journey particularly .. just dances that suit them more etc and they are improving in stamina etc.
Journeys are for when someone starts off poor .. like Michael Vaughan. Someone who wasn't a dancer at all and then became one.

Anita over Jay anyday. She actually has a personality.

So does Jay. Not everybody has to gush and swoon over their partner.

I agree. I don't think any of the contestants left are on a journey or have shown any real improvement in technique - they all have the same technique problems they had at the start but some dances hide it better. The one who I think has actually improved a bit compared to where he started is Jeremy, although he doesn't get any credit for it because its buried under the comedy theming they have given him.

Most of her fans are Jay fans, like me . In a few weeks all my votes will be going to him. Also, Gleb and her don't seem to have very much chemistry; they work very well together but they are a bit aloof on the chemistry front . Jmo. And she won't win .

I'm guessing .. the point where we talk about dark horses, journeymen/women, people upping their game and the reverse etc etc.

I would say Jamelia's made the most obvious improvement. It's hard to say with Jeremy because he's done so many of the "out of hold mucking abaht" dances but I don't think he's really progressed. He can clearly hear music and the rhythm of the track but he's been at that point since week 1 and his ballroom is dire.

I think anita is seriously under rated . Loved her from the start and can see her in the final .
