Brendan I think might be a better judge than Anton, Brendan would be honest where I think Anton might be a bit fluffy and won't be at all critical.

Brendan is one of the best choreographers and dancers on the show, where some pro's are better at latin than ballroom Brendan excels in both, and teaching it too, he makes his celebs do the actual steps instead of a Alijaz who I love, that wasn't a rumba,

Show wouldn't be same without Brendan! Anton on the other hand!! If Katie had Brendan she would be excelling!

Brendan is my favourite male pro and I don't want him to leave. I wouldn't miss Anton one bit.

I think it will depend on which pros will be available next year. I still think Brendan could be a good match for one of them. He's a great dancer and a great sport.

Not that I disagree, but what if there is not enough of "us" and Brendan is just not pulling in the votes ? After all, Kirsty was in the dance-off slightly before her time. Meanwhile the Eastern European newbies have a good record. Artem won on his début, as did Aljaz. Gleb could well do the same.

I suspect the chances of Brendan exiting voluntarily are slim in the near future, not least because tickets sales for his tour are doubtless boosted by his continued presence on prime-time tv. It's win/win for him: he gets his fee for SCD and simultaneously maintains the high profile that boosts his tour profits.

He has seemed very disengaged from the show this year.

Yeah but he ( and his partner) has been voted off so get over yourself.

He's a Strictly fixture. Even though he hasn't been a bad boy for about 8 series, he's still the original gobsh*te, 'curse' originator and winner. He's less 'past it' than Anton, he's a better dancer than several of the other male pros, past and present, and his personality is more interesting than most dancers'. So, unless he decides himself not to do it, producers would be daft to dump him, IMO.

1.Brendan could learn loads from Aljaz and actually be nice to his partner.
2. He makes his celebs do actual steps seriously now he drags and lift's and faffs about as soon as he realise's he has no chance of winning.
3. If Katie had Aljaz or Giovanni then she might do well

I actually quite like Brendan but he just looks like he's in it for the money/promotion whatever I think he's hanging on for a judging role.

None, unless he gets fired. Strictly is a dream job to dancers in UK. It's well paying, gets the dancers exposure, and they get to do what they love.

Absolutely. He's been looking stale and disinterested for some years. So has Ola. They could be replaced by Trent Whiddon and his wife Gordana.

Hope not!
I like Brendan!

He's a great dancer and choreographer, he did some amazing routines for Sophie EB.
It must be really difficult to arrange routines for celebrities who have two left feet.

Why do you think Anton got the "comedy" tag?
Desperation!!!! "What the hell can I do this week as my partner can't dance?"

I think Brendan would be an awesome judge when the time comes.

If only.

By the way I don't know why I make threads sometimes as it obviously annoys other forumites and I get it in the neck.

Or they could move him sideways so he could still have a bit of involvement with SCD, but not to the extent that he's had in the past.

Agreed. I want to keep a range of pros who have different strengths.

Why?????/ Moved 'sideways' where?????

Exactly. Many of the newer pros are great at latin or that kind of mixed up choreography (contemporary?) as we see all different dances but there is still a place for proper ballroom.

Possibly to a presenter role.
