Samsung D500 problems
I have just bought a Samsung D500 and connected it to my PC using bluetooth.
On the phone, in the My Devices section of Bluetooth it shows my computer, with the red icon to show that it has connected. I've downloaded Easy Studio 2.0 from the Samsung website but when I launch it, it doesn't seem to recognise that there is a phone connected. I've selected the relevant bluetooth Com port in Setup, but all the options to load data are greyed out. I've also tried to connect with a serial cable, but get the same result. Can anyone help? (I'm using XP) |

Sorry to post in here but I've just got a Samsung D500 and I have downloaded the Easy Studio 2.0 PIM & File Manager 1.0 from the Samsung website because I want to transfer songs from my PC to my phone. I'm not sure if what I am doing is right? Any help would be great.

(I'm using XP) i found that when i used the bluetooth, and with my adapter my windows xp PC would crash, (the bluetooth adapter has problems with processors running over 2.66Ghz) I purchased a USB cable, i had similar problems with easy studio seeing the phone, i resolved the problem by uninstalling the software and the drivers for the USB cable, and restarted the machine, then installed the USB driver first then plugged in the cable, then re-installed the easy studio software, Sorted, (one problem i do find is that the software doesnt start first time properly, but if you go into taskmanager and end the process labelled "easystudio.exe" and then double click the program again, it works fine Quote:

Yes you are going the right way, just make sure you have some form of connection that you can use between the phone, i.e. IR (infrared) Bluetooth (bluetooth dongle) serial or USB cable. And just follow the above instructions, and you can upload MP3 files to the phone, just by dragging and dropping the files onto the phone. Hope this helps |
