Will he still do both jobs? I reckon he's lost his zeal and mystique by agreeing to come mainstream taking over Nick's place, and he doesn't look too comfortable in his new role either. If he still conducts the interview process i'm sure the candidates won't feel much pressure coming in since he's there with them all days of the week practically. He'd have lost that edge already, the aura he had when in the interview process

I'd be surprised if Claude does the interviews this year. But maybe Nick might?

I'm pretty sure Karren did the interviews in the early stages, but obviously stopped once she took over from Margaret.

I don't thinks that she did - and I don't think that Claude will either.

I never found Claude's interviews particularly interesting to be honest. The other interviewers always seem to get far deeper while he often latched onto a small detail, hammered the candidate for it and gave virtually no opportunity for them to respond. Having said that, I do think it's down to the editing. Claude, afterwards in the boardroom, was often far more complimentary about the candidates than anything we'd seen of the interview would give him cause to be.

That was his role in the show.

Actually I thinks he is a nice bloke in "real" life.

So, the answer is YES!

You can imagine Claude insisting that he gets to keep that role before agreeing to be an advisor

Very different this time as he knows the candidates and has pre-conceived ideas, rather than going in blind?

Thought it would be better to bump an existing thread then start a new one. I care deeply about DS's bandwidth.
