Do the T-mobile 6 months unlimited browsing sim's still work?

A few months ago, I heard that they soon won't be usable, however they are still sold on eBay for around £26.

I've one as back-up and it was topped up a few weeks ago. Yes it still works. Be interesting how long T-Mobile will be kept alive for.

£20pm / 6 months = £3.33pm for 500mb uncapped, and then unlimited restricted to 128kbps?

These SIMs were brilliant, used to use them a lot for various things!

Still... with EE doing 100GB of 4G data for the equivalent of £5 per month now... lol.

Did you buy the SIMs from ebay or somewhere else? The cheapest price I've seen on ebay is for about £26.

With the 100GB EE promo SIMs being issued nearly every month for the last year or so, I can honestly say there's no point in buying the 6MONTHWEB boosters on T-Moile any more. Plus they're so restrictive once you've hit the fair usage cap, after that you won't be able to stream anything and web browsing is slowed to a crawl.

The EE 100GB SIMs aren't throttled in any way. It's 100GB super fast 4G data each month for two months, that's it.

What happens after the two months though.

That's the thing about the EE 100GB sim offer. No one knows how long it will last for. EE might just decide to run the promo for 1 year from Dec 2014 to Dec 2015. As that rounds it off to one full year.

They are very unlikely to let people have 100GB data for £5/month for years when mobile broadband is so expensive at around £1 per GB or even more expensive for certain plans.

I get round the cap by watching Youtube videos on a low quality and watching YT before 4pm, when the rules applies,. Yes it's a bummer you can't watch I Player and listen to Spotify, but there is always workarounds.

Yeah, it still works and works well on my Nexus 7.

However finding T-Mobile PAYG sim cards in the local shops are starting to become rarer than hens teeth now. Not as difficult to still pick up an Orange sim though in my experience.
