Before you PM with your Gillian McKeiths and Sue Barkers....don't.

After the way thing got a little fraught towards the end of last series, with claims about the relative experience and likelihood of being 'good' of certain celebrities, I decided it was time to mix things up a bit and hopefully get rid of the fanwarz element.

Therefore, I have decided that this series will see FICTIONAL CHARACTERS compete against one another. Now they can be anybody from Othello to Winnie the Pooh, Jane Eyre to Buzz Lightyear. Anything goes!

I know it takes away a little of the competitive element, but that's precisely what I was looking to do with this series. There will be 14 contestants, and 12 rounds in total.

Please send any suggestions you have for the series and let me know if you would like to host a week/which week that is.

Loving this idea, (Although I now have to wait another series to submit RuPaul. )

Prepare for an entire list of of Harry Potter characters. And I'll take week 5.

Well there goes my list of living suggestions. Very intriguing theme though.

I'll take week three if that's okay.

Also, Google tells me that tomorrow is the first anniversary of Decisions, so I think a party's in order. The Queen's got the right idea.

At least you can suggest the Travelodge puppets now. Silver linings and all...

If you don't suggest a character from Doctors, I'll be extremely disappointed.

I wouldn't dream of taking that honour away from Mitch... (I'm currently flicking through my vast mental library for inspiration... ahem...)

My total of Doctors episodes I've watched has risen to 5, and the only characters I can remember are dead, do dead characters count?

Well I did say Othello could be included, so I don't see why not!

Lovely spoiler there, not that I was ever planning to read Othello.

I think you'd only have to know the bare minimum about Shakespearean tragedies to know that Othello doesn't win the Lotto and buy a Ferrari at the end of it.

Can I have round 9 if that's ok?

Why did nobody think of warning me how much admin it is to go through all the suggestions?!?

I could fill the cast already and I've only read three PMs!

I'm having that problem again where I can't type a new PM title into the boxymathing, but I'm sure 'The Artists' fits the bill just fine...
