my test which is how the pro deals with the duffer. He's had a good run in the past but I've admired him much more this series. Nice routines despite Carole's limited ability and she did improve. Nice couple.

Yes I liked the way he gave Carol routines that she would want to dance (even if it didn't please the judges).

Both Pasha and Carol seemed absolutely lovely and genuine tonight.

Pasha has definitely gone up in my estimation, even though I've always liked him.

Rachel Riley was a bit of a duffer (obviously had other attributes).

Pasha is my favourite professional, I believe he really is as nice as he seems.

The goodbye video. Very lovely words from Jay towards the end .
Everyone liked her and only had good things to say about her. What a lovely, sweet lady. I enjoyed her partnership with Pasha and it was sad to see them go but sadly it was their time to go .
I'm sure they are going to remain great friends.

It was definitely her time to go but both handled it with such grace and poise. A testament to both of their characters! Great personalities

What a nice thread.
I dread to think what would have been posted if the voters had kept them in,
so definitely a good time to go.

Liked Pasha telling Carol to enjoy it as it was a celebration of her experience.

I'll miss Pasha but won't miss Carol's dancing etc - glad she's gone at long last - don't have to skulk in the kitchen anymore making coffee when she's on.

Carol genuinely meant it when she said he was a gentleman and a gentle man.

Absolutely. I wasn't totally surprised when Jeremy said he had been a good friend of hers for years.

Carol, you could always tell loved every minute with a smile. When only she and Helen were left - before Tess announced the second contestant in the dance-off - she knew she was prepared to accept her fate.

He was handed a bit of a bum deal with Carol, but at least he didn't make an arse out of himself.

(I'm here all week)

The tone is definitely descending despite my best efforts to praise his loftier attributes, I see.

I've just realised, Pasha never, ever made Carol do a 'comedy' routine trading on her inadequacy.

In face, I think he did actually try to teach her to dance, and listed off all the things she'd learnt at the end, bless him <3

I love Pasha he seems like such a genuine man. I knew he'd be good with Carol despite him never having a duffer before.

Pasha and Carol are both lovely people. Too bad she was hopeless at dancing...

Now we've had one BBC weather forecaster on SCD let's get Tomasz Schafernaker on for 2016.

I have not always been a fan of Pasha, and especially disliked his work with Rachel. But I thought he was brilliant with Carol, his routines were great for her and he was lovely and a true gentleman. Loved their farewell dance tonight and the way he not only spoke, but also danced his respect and admiration for her. Very touching. Well done Pasha and Carol, a great partnership.
