What genuinely lovely people both Carol and Pasha are. I was full of admiration for him anyway but love him even more for never treating Carol like the 'duffer' (awful word) and never giving her anything less than a beautiful routine. Their respect for each other is obvious, they were my favourites no matter what happened each week.

Yes. He kept her dignity and respected her terror of lifts - I watched very carefully because I would be as terrified as her. They were all quite tame esp. where she sort of climbed up halfway via that shop counter, but he showed them off as much as he could.
I couldn't see that Pasha passed anything, even though his trousers were very tight. Break out the prunes?

Thank God Carol had Pasha and not someone like Anton. Such a nice lady wouldn't deserve being made into a figure of fun.
