The X Factor Battle: Ben Haenow v Fleur East
There seems to be a major divide when it comes to these two, but who do you prefer and who's original debut single do you prefer - Second Hand Heart or Sax?

Bens song and album is better than I thought it would be. Fleurs songs ( 2 of them) are exactly what you would expect, same old stuff, you know exactly what you're getting, no surprises
Its silly to compare them, they are totally different artists |

I think they're both likeable, friendly people.
I don't particularly like the style of music either of them do, but then, its probably not aimed at people like myself. It's nothing personal, I don't like that kind of music performed by anyone else either. |

I like them Both, Wasn't huge on Ben during the live shows but Second Hand Heart is a really catchy single I love it at the moment.
Fleur been a fan since I first clapped eyes on her at the six seat challenge, I think she's a lovely girl and I like her style, I've gone off Sax very quickly but I'm expecting her album to be a corker! |

They were my two favourites from last year but Fleur is a star and Ben is rather forgettable.

Ben's voice didn't appeal to me at all, like nails on a chalkboard...
I did like Fleur, and would've bought the single if she won, but the hype is kinda gone now. |

I never buy pop music, so neither track interests me. However, I did like Ben at the auditions but as per usual, the live shows knocked out all the authenticity in his voice and here we have it in it's finished form with Second Hand Heart - an soulless dirge
Fleur I didn't get at all during auditions but she has the right "look" for now, very current (the big hair, mixed race, attractive) so was obvious she'd end up the most successful - she's a marketing man's dream. At least she's not been ruined liked Ben, in fact, she grew as the X Factor went along. Her track is catchy, silly, bubblegum stuff - it's what you'd expect. Fleur will be here for a while yet. Ben will go the same way as Cardle and all the other male winners. |

I like them both as people. Not massively fussed about either of them on the show, though I think the material they have both released is fairly decent.

I preferred Ben but his album has just charted with the lowest ever sales for a winner. Not a good result sadly.

To answer the OP, I've always preferred Ben, and although Fleur isn't my type of artist, I bought her debut single too because I love the sax solos. |

I'm not fussed on Bens song but I like his voice, whereas I'm not fussed on fleurs voice but like her song.
